Dwelling Place Church

Dwelling Place Church DPC is a church plant located in the heart of Pender County. We gather on Sundays at 10:30 AM! This ministry is led by Pastors Tommy & Ashton Vincek

Dwelling Place Church is a church plant that launched in Burgaw March of 2022. We started out meeting on Sunday evenings at Gateway Community Church. In 2023 the Lord opened the door for us to have our own space to worship where we now meet on Sunday mornings. This ministry is led by founding Pastors Tommy & Ashton Vincek, who are locals of Pender County. Our mission to promote life-change through

Christ will be done through this vision God has given us. From the beginning the vision of Dwelling Place has been clear and can summed up in three "E"s: encounter, equip, and evangelize. We want to provide a place where anyone can first and foremost encounter God's presence, as well as His people. As we meet together we will equip believers to live Christian lives and do the work of ministry. We will evangelize the lost as a church and as individuals, reaching out to our local community and beyond. We'd love for you to become a part of the community of believers that God is building here in Burgaw.

Sunday May 24th is Pentecost Sunday!

Pentecost was not just an event, it was the beginning of a Spirit-empowered Church.

The same Spirit who filled the Upper Room is still moving today—bringing salvation, healing, freedom, and transformation.

We are believing that all will experience the power, person, and presence of the Holy Spirit as we gather together.

Community churches are coming together in Burgaw and you're invited!

Grab a lawn chair and bring a friend to the courthouse square THIS week for a time of worship, preaching, and fellowship. Services begin at 6:30 PM.

There will be different musical guests nightly.

Speakers for the week are:
- Reverend Becky Purcell of Burgaw Presbyterian Church (Weds. 5/13)
- Dr. Geraldine Dereef of Macedonia A.M.E. (Thurs. 5/14)
- Reverend Tommy Vincek of Dwelling Place Church (Fri. 5/15)

This event is put on by Kingdom United.

Kingdom United is a collaboration of churches from Pender County coming together to promote Jesus Christ to the community and bring together all people for that purpose.
