Unity on the Square: an ecumenical event of prayer, scriptures, music and reflection. Participants include folks from Burgaw Baptist, Dwelling Place (Church of God), Westview Methodist & Kingdom Impact Ministries. Our own Pastor Becky delivered the sermon this evening. All are welcome Thursday and Friday of this week 6:30 pm, Courthouse Square.

Today during worship we celebrated Childcare Sunday. The children from our preschool program did an excellent job ringing handbells, under the direction of Nancy Jewell. Pastor Becky and the children led the congregation in singing and signing the beloved songs “Jesus Loves Me” and “This Little Light of Mine”, their voices were a clear expression of Jesus’s love. Miss Beth and Miss Jenny your dedication to this program is evident and appreciated.
