As Salaam Alaikum,

There will be a conference call on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 11:30 PM (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) to determine the start of the Month of Ramadan. The Black Moon (New Moon) will have been born on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 5:00 AM
(Eastern Daylight Savings Time).

On March 11, 2024, we will have a conference call to see if there has been a sighting in our
hemisphere. The time for the conference call is based on when the sun sets and moon sets in
different regions. This will allow all regions the opportunity to see the sighting of the Hilal.
