In a day when people often come and go, there is something deeply meaningful about faithfulness over time.

Today, we had the privilege of recognizing and celebrating those who have faithfully called Bunker Hill Church home for 25 years or more. Through changing seasons, different generations, joys, challenges, and countless Sundays, they have continued to worship, serve, love, and remain faithful.

We are deeply grateful for each of you. Thank you for your love for Jesus, your commitment to His Church, and your faithful investment in the Bunker Hill Church family.

Twenty-five years is more than a milestone. It is a testimony of faithfulness.

We honor you, we celebrate you, and we thank God for you. ❤️ We also celebrate Pastor Chantha and Susan in their 5th anniversary at Bunker Hill.

Pray for Nepal. 🇳🇵

Our hearts are with the people of Nepal as they face tremendous loss and devastation. We are praying for the ongoing recovery efforts, for those who have survived and are grieving, and that even in the midst of such suffering, people would find hope.

We are especially remembering one of our undisclosed missionary partners who frequently serves in Nepal and is presently there. We are grateful that he is safe and approximately 100 km away from the affected area, and we continue to pray for his protection and ministry.

We are also praying for our missionary partner, Ksh*tiz Ghimire, and his family, as they prepare to leave next month for Nepal to begin their first missionary term. In a moment like this, we are reminded again of both the tremendous needs of the nations and the importance of faithfully taking the hope of Jesus to them.

“The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he saves those crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18

This Sunday, August 30, we will joyfully celebrate the Chhims’ 5 anniversary of faithful service among us. We will also honor those who have been part of the Bunker Hill family for 25 years or more. These milestones remind us that God has been faithful through every season—and that He continues to write our story together.

The words on this wall are more than statements. They express the heartbeat of who we are and the calling God has placed before us. They remind us why we gather, how we serve, and what we believe is worth giving our lives to.

What if the story of the prodigal son is even more beautiful than we realize?

The father didn’t wait for his son to make things right. He ran to meet him with open arms. His love overcame shame, failure, and sin. That’s a picture of the love our Heavenly Father has for us. When we turn back to Him, we find forgiveness, grace, and a Father who welcomes us home.

There is something incredibly rewarding about watching new believers take their next steps with Jesus.

We are grateful to see how God continues to draw people to Himself, transform lives, and call people to follow Him. Baptism is a beautiful public declaration of faith, identifying with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We are so incredibly proud of each person who has taken this step of obedience. And we’re even more excited because baptism isn’t the finish line. It’s another step in a lifelong journey of knowing Jesus personally and pursuing Him passionately.

God is changing lives, and we are grateful to have a front-row seat!

❤️ Anniversary Sunday | August 30

Bunker Hill Church has been home to so many families for generations. On August 30, we’re celebrating those who have been part of our church family for 25 years or more with special recognition.

We’ll also celebrate Pastor Chantha & Susan Chhim’s 5th anniversary serving at Bunker Hill Church.

It’s going to be a special Sunday as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to all God has ahead!

Sometimes the best parts of church aren’t what we expected, but what God does when we least expect it.

Today was one of those days. God moved, and His people answered. It was so sweet and precious to watch people remain tender to the voice of God and respond to His leading.

We’re grateful for what God is doing in our church. ❤️

Thanking God for what He did last week.

Lives were changed. Faith went public. Heaven rejoiced.

This past Sunday we celebrated baptisms, and this Sunday we can’t wait to celebrate five more as they take the next step in following Jesus.

God is moving, and we’re grateful to be part of the story. Join us this Sunday at 9:00 AM as we celebrate together! 💙
