This Easter season, something beautiful happened.
At the Easter Vigil on April 4th, we had the great joy of welcoming 18 catechumens into the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. What a beautiful witness to the work of the Holy Spirit in our parish family.
Then, this past Friday, May 1st, 76 more completed their Sacraments of Initiation as they were confirmed by Bishop Daniel Garcia at our Confirmation Mass.
Additionally, over the past several weeks, 12 Christians who were baptized in other faith traditions made a profession of faith, were received into full communion with the Catholic Church, confirmed, and received Our Lord in Holy Communion.
In total, 106 souls entered into full communion with the Catholic Church here at St. Joseph Catholic Church this Easter season.
As a parish family, this is a moment of great gratitude and hope. These men and women have encountered Jesus and responded to His call. Now, together, let us continue our mission to Meet, Know, Live, and Share JESUS. Please welcome them warmly into our community, pray for them often, and invite them more deeply into the life of our parish as we continue walking together with our Lord.
