Great Sunday Morning Saints! A heartfelt THANK YOU to our church family for making Cameo’s Housewarming Celebration such a wonderful success last Sunday! Your generosity, love, and support helped make this milestone even more special for Cameo and her family as they begin this exciting new chapter in their new home. We are blessed to be part of a church family that celebrates one another’s victories and supports each other through every season of life. Thank you for helping make this occasion a memorable one.

Congratulations, Cameo and family! May God fill your new home with love, peace, joy, and countless blessings for years to come.🏡❤️🙏🏾

"Remembering the past. Honoring the legacy. Celebrating freedom." ✊🏾❤️🖤💚💛

Join the City of Brownsville and the Haywood County Branch NAACP on Friday, June 19, 2026, for a meaningful day of celebration and reflection as we honor Juneteenth and remember the legacy of civil rights martyr Elbert Williams.

Juneteenth marks the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing pursuit of freedom, justice, and equality. Elbert Williams was one of the five charter members of the NAACP branch in Brownsville and is the first known NAACP member to be lynched for his civil rights activities in 1940.

11:00 a.m. ~ Elbert Williams Memorial Ceremony (Doors open at 10:30 AM)
