Malachy Parish could be. The land for the church was purchased on April 20, 1866, and the note required for the construction of the church was signed by six parishioners: Timothy Casserly, Thomas Corliss, Martin Dugan, Thomas Maloney, Timothy Quinn and Thomas Ward. Three years later - on Sept. 26, 1869 - St. Malachy Parish was established with Fr. John Brassart as the founding pastor. The first ch

urch was a 30' x 40' wood frame building with a beautiful white altar. This was our humble - and exciting - beginning.

Calling all women of the parish! Join us for Season 3 of She Shall Be Called Woman: Love Unveiled. If you haven't joined us for the past seasons, don't worry! All are invited! Meetings are on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8 pm in the Holy Family Room starting on September 16th.

In this season, we will explore what it means for us, as women, to represent Christ's Bride to the world. This relationship is marked by joy and intimacy, but also, like any relationship, it includes moments of failure, heartbreak, and the need for restoration.

As we journey together, we will delve into the depths of Christ's love for His Bride, discovering the beauty of reconciliation and the grace that heals and strengthens us.

What an incredible evening at St. Malachy! Dozens and dozens of parishioners and friends filled the church last night, creating rosaries with one beautiful goal in mind: to make 1,000 rosaries for the Beatification Mass of Archbishop Fulton Sheen.

And what a sight it was! People of all ages gathered around tables, learning, creating, praying, and working together. Volunteers kept arriving throughout the evening, adding even more hands and hearts to this special mission.

From the youngest rosary makers to our most experienced volunteers, everyone played a part in making this evening truly unforgettable.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your time, generosity, and joyful spirit made this possible. What a beautiful reminder of what can happen when our parish family comes together in faith!

1,000 rosaries. Countless prayers. One incredible community.
