F.O.C.U.S. - Fellowship Of Camera Using Servants

F.O.C.U.S. - Fellowship Of Camera Using Servants A community of photographers using their talents towards the growth of the kingdom, community, and each other.

We are a small, but growing, group of photographers based at Traders Point Christian Church. We meet on the 3rd Monday of the month, from 6:30 - 8:00, in room 213 at TPCC. Our meetings are intended for fellowship, spiritual growth, and skill growth. Everyone is welcome, regardless of photography skill level or affiliation. Feel free to direct questions to [email protected].

Well, I was really talking about this one; but the other one is good too. I really like this one though.

Here's an opportunity to help some local folks in need. Please check it out and pass it along!

It seems as though victims of events like this receive an outpouring of support immediately afterwards, but once the media stops talking about it, we get distracted by other things and move on. They'll need continued support of a wide variety, including compassion and spirituality. It could be an excellent opportunity to shine some light on someone's path, or offer a hand up, and to help share their story.

1 donor(s) have helped us raise $20 for the Help Portrait event for the Henryville and surrounding Southern Indiana sites as well as Eastern KY areas affected by the March 2nd tornadoes. This event is led by Kate Gregg and is planned for September.

Another opportunity to work on creativity and inspiration?

While out on our photo walk this morning, Jon and I were blessed with the opportunity to meet Lee Willie Nelson, Jr. A man stranded in Indy en route back to Little Rock.

This opportunity unexpectedly sparked the beginning of a "100 Strangers" project for both Jon and I.
