Allah Owns the Heavens and the Earth | Surah Al-Buruj | Makkah Recitation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Allah ﷻ swears by the sky and its great stars:

وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ
"By the sky containing great stars"
— Surah Al-Buruj 85:1

الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ
"To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens
and the earth. And Allah, over all things,
is Witness."
— Surah Al-Buruj 85:9

إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
"Indeed, the assault of your Lord is severe."
— Surah Al-Buruj 85:12

witnesses everything — and His justice is severe

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً

The Most Powerful Dua in the Quran | Surah Al-Baqarah | Makkah Recitation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

One of the most beloved duas in the entire Quran:

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
"Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." — Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201

The Prophet ﷺ would recite this dua constantly. It covers everything — goodness in this life, goodness in the next, and protection from the Fire. Make it part of every prayer. 🤲

وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَسَادَ
"And Allah does not like corruption." — Surah Al-Baqarah 2:205

Allah Sees Everything You Do | Surah Hud - 11 | Powerful Recitation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

A command that applies to every one of us, every day:

فَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَمَن تَابَ مَعَكَ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا ۚ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

"So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do." — Surah Hud 11:112

No matter where you are or what you're doing — Allah ﷻ is watching. Let that be a source of comfort when you're alone, and accountability when you're tempted.

This is What Awaits the Believers | Surah Al-Buruj 85:11 | Beautiful Recitation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

Allah ﷻ promises the believers something beyond imagination:

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ
تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ ذَلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ

"Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow — that is the great attainment." — Surah Al-Buruj 85:11

And Allah is الْفَعَّالُ لِمَا يُرِيدُ —
"The Effecter of what He intends" (85:16)
— nothing is beyond His will.

The Promise Allah Made to Those Who Fear Him | Surah Ibrahim | Beautiful Recitation

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

When the disbelievers threatened the Prophets and said "We will surely drive you out of our land" — what did Allah ﷻ say in response?

وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِرُسُلِهِمْ

"And those who disbelieved said to their messengers..." — Surah Ibrahim 14:13

فَأَوْحَىٰ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ

"So their Lord inspired to them..." — Surah Ibrahim 14:13

وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ

"And We will surely cause you to dwell in the land after them — for he who fears My position and fears My threat." — Surah Ibrahim 14:14

This beautiful recitation from the Holy Mosque in Makkah reminds us that Allah's promise to the believers is always true — no matter how strong the opposition.
