Join the Greenpoint Shul in celebrating Sukkot!
Celebrate Sukkot, the Festival of Joy, with a beautiful dinner under the stars in the Greenpoint Shul sukkah. We’ll gather for delicious food, song, and inspiration as we embrace sacred hospitality and the spirit of the holiday together.
Join us in the Greenpoint Shul Sukkah for a screening of Ushpizin, a heartwarming Israeli film that explores themes of faith, hospitality, and the magic of Sukkot. Bring a blanket, a friend, and an open heart for this meaningful and entertaining evening under the sukkah roof.
Mark the final day of Sukkot with Hoshanah Rabbah morning services, featuring a joyful musical Hallel and the tradition of the willow branches. Afterward, we’ll gather for a festive brunch in the sukkah, one last chance to eat and celebrate in it before the season turns.
As the High Holiday season draws to a close, join us for a festive Shmini Atzeret dinner and closing program. We’ll enjoy a delicious meal together and reflect on the journey from Rosh HaShanah through Sukkot, carrying its meaning with us into the year ahead. Come celebrate the sweetness of ending the season in community.
We completed the full Torah again! Join the Greenpoint Shul for Torah Dancing and a Dinner Buffet as we rock out in honor of our love and gratitude for the role Torah has played in our lives, the lives of the Jewish people, and the entire world.
On Simchat Torah, it is customary for all men to receive aliyot during the Torah reading, and in many communities, women hold their own reading through Women’s Tefillah. Join us for a celebratory Women’s Tefillah service honoring an inspiring lineup of women reading from the Torah, as we mark both a Bat Mitzvah milestone and the completion of the Torah cycle.
