While he has already been here for a couple of months, on September 20th we are making Pastor Ben's call here official.

Join us on the 20th as we welcome Guest Preacher: Pastor John Hulden for Pastor Ben's Installation Service.

After Worship join us for a celebratory Potluck and Party to offically welcome Pastor Ben.

Volunteers are what make the Church work on a weekly basis: from keeping our Church looking nice, to helping in Worship - there is truly something for EVERYONE

After Worship ALL are invited for a celebratory lunch! Help us celebrate our volunteers: past, present and future

Worship on that day will also include a Blessing of Students and Teachers

Catching up on the Weekly Announcements/Happenings

- This Sunday is a Special Congregational Meeting to vote on refinancing the mortgage. The meeting will start shortly after Worship and WILL be livestreamed
- Join us on September 13th as we have a Volunteer Celebration Sunday. We will gather for a time of food and fellowship following Worship. This day is for EVERYONE
- Join us on Sunday, September 20th as we celebrate Pastor Ben's Installation here at Prince of Peace. We will welcome Pastor John Hulden as a guest preacher and gather for a Celebratory Potluck following Worship

A Note from Miss Katie:

If you were at Church this morning it was a morning of celebration. As of Friday, August 21st I finished my 20th Year of Ministry here at Prince of Peace (don't worry, I am not leaving, I am not switching roles, I am staying right where I am).

I have been with Prince of Peace through multiple transitions, both big and small, that involved Staff Changes, Job Changes and more. Prince of Peace has seen me through an engagement, marriage, birth of three children and countless family health struggles between my dad and my husband.

Through all of these ups and downs in the Life of the Church and in my personal life, Prince of Peace has remained a place/source of comfort and encouragement. Many of you have seen me cry, you have seen me rejoice, you have seen me at my worst and my best.

I have been able to watch my former youth get married and create families of their own. I have even been able to have their children in my Ministry areas. I have now been here longer than most of our young people have been alive and it has been a true joy and wonder. We have dreamed together - even some of the crazy ideas have come to life. We have loved together, cried together and lived together.

You have accepted me even though I cheer for the Packers - and I love all of you enough that I spent ONE HOUR in Vikings clothing...that says a lot about this place.

Here is to many more years of Ministry (I hope) as I wouldn't be who I am today without this place!
