This Easter, we are partnering with Compassion Connection to create Easter baskets for kids in foster care. Pick up an Easter basket in the lobby this Friday or Sunday and fill it with tons of fun things! Baskets can be made for the following age groups: 0-2 years, 3-5 years, 6-12 years, or 13-18 years. On Wednesday, June 11th, Brooklyn Park Police Department is hosting Cops N Kids Fishing event at Sunfish Pond at 5600 85th Ave. N. in Brooklyn Park.

This is a free event for ages 7-15 who reside in Brooklyn Park. Registration includes a rod and reel, t-shirt, gift bag, snacks, and lunch. Transportation options will be available.

This annual event helps foster meaningful connections between officers and youth in our community, and provides an opportunity for youth to explore and enjoy outdoor recreation.
