New Life United Pentecostal Church Broken Bow We are a church proclaiming the supernatural Gospel of Jesus Christ in the 21st Century! We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4).

What We Believe

We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion. He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesu

s Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:4)

We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11)

We are looking forward to a time of Spirit-filled prayer, Spirit-filled singing, Spirit-filled praise and worship, and Spirit-filled preaching and teaching from the Word of God.

There is something powerful about gathering together to pray, worship, and study God's Word.

This Wednesday night, we'll be looking at 2 Peter 1:1-11 and considering the qualities that confirm the call of God in our lives. Peter reminds us that saving faith is not the finish line—it is the starting line. As believers, we are called to grow in grace, grow in knowledge, and add to our faith the qualities that produce a fruitful Christian life.

Some time ago, our church board agreed unanimously to name our Fellowship Hall and Family Life Center after our longtime former pastor, Reverend and Mrs. Johnny Cheek.

We just recently received a custom sign and got it installed, and we would like to publicly thank Brother and Sister Cheek again for their many years of faithful service to New Life UPC and the city of Broken Bow.

It is our prayer that this mark upon our Family Life Center will serve as a reminder to future generations of their labor of love, sacrifice, and commitment to the kingdom of God.

“The God of Peace”

We live in a troubled and anxious world, but Scripture teaches us that true peace is not found in circumstances, distractions, or temporary relief. Real peace is found in Jesus Christ.

Tonight’s lesson will focus on:
▪️ the peace of God
▪️ prayer and dependence upon Him
▪️ overcoming anxiety
▪️ and the supernatural work of God in the heart of the believer

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we do so with gratitude, humility, and respect for the brave men and women who laid down their lives in service to our nation. 🇺🇸
