Sorry folks, it's me again, trying to make our needs at GRACEFULLY YOURS known. Our abatement (asbestos and lead paint clean up) is finished, but we are about $3000 short to pay for it. This is an expensive process, and we will be reimbursed for most it not all of it. Unfortunately, it is a reimbursement, so we have to pay for it in order to get it back. It is required by the government in order for us to occupy the building, so... We are also having difficulty procuring funds to renovate the building. There are many ways you can help with this. 1. Consider a tax-deductible donation to Gracefully Yours. No gift is too big or too small, and all will help us finish this project. 2. If you are a tradesperson, consider am in-kind donation. Inside the city limits we are required to use licensed professionals for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. We have people that are bidding these parts, but we would consider others. We also need flooring, ceilings, paintings and other odd jobs and demo, demo, demo. If you can CAREFULLY take down walls or scrape up flooring, let me know. You can also bid the job without in-kind consideration. We are having difficulty finding people who are even willing to bid the job for us. And 3. PRAY. Pray like you haven't ever prayed before. GRACEFULLY YOURS is a much-needed service her in Broken Bow and McCurtain County. Our board and volunteers have been praying throughout this process and feel like we have been and continue to follow God's leading in this. But I must confess that I am more than a little discouraged today, worrying about getting this project completed. So please PRAY and SHARE this post. If we all work together, we will bring this to completion.

GRACEFULLY YOURS would like to thank the group of young men and their sponsors from the LDS Church in Melissa Texas for coming in today and doing some demo on our new building. It was much appreciated.

Just wanted to give you a quick update on GRACEFULLY YOURS' new home. The asbestos and lead paint abatement should be finished THIS AFTERNOON (Yay God). We are in the process of accepting bids for the renovations need, so if you are interested in submitting a bid, please contact me here, email me at [email protected], or call 580-584-2473. You can leave a message if I am not there to answer. We would like to get started on this as soon as possible, so we will leave the bidding open until next Friday, May 29 at 5:00 pm. If there are extenuating circumstances and you have difficulty finalizing your bid by then, please let me know and we will see what we can do. We are interested in all bids, but we have already been displaced for nearly 3 years, so we would like to finish this final stage sooner rather than later. Please keep in mind that, because we are inside the city limits, all electrical and plumbing must be done by a licensed professional.
And if you are not a contractor, but would still like to help, we have set a goal of $100,000 to help cover the cost of the renovations. We realize that this is a lofty goal. If we do not raise this amount entirely, the work will go on and Gracefully Yours will continue to operate. It will also not delay the renovations. We are just asking you, the people of Broken Bow and McCurtain County to help ease the burden and assist us in aiding our underserved neighbors. If you have already given (and some of you have), we are not asking for more. We will take it if you are offering, but... ☺️Thank you in advance for your help.

GRACEFULLY YOURS would like to give a GIANT shout out of thanks to Brandon Dollar and Dollar Electric. We reached a snag in the abatement process, and I cried (read scream in all caps in a text) and he came right over and began working to solve the problem. Thanks again Brandon for your help!

Just wanted to take a moment to update you on GRACEFULLY YOURS and our new home. A fully licensed and approved firm is scheduled to begin our abatement on Monday, May 18 and should have their part of the work done by Friday May 22. Then the real fun begins. We are currently accepting bids for the renovation work on the property. Being inside the city limits all electrical and plumbing work must be done by licensed and bonds individuals/contractors. We will also need painting (both interior and exterior), flooring installed, ceiling dropped or otherwise finished, and some drywall both removed and replaced.
