Countryside Alliance Church - Brodheadsville It’s All About Jesus
In The Alliance, we are Jesus people. You see, “All of Jesus” is not just for us; we’re redeemed for other people.

We say, “All of Jesus,” because we’re after His Lordship, a complete transformation in our lives through His Spirit. Scripture tells us that “the same power that raised Jesus from the grave is at work within us.” If we believe that, then our lives change. We don’t get as distracted by the latest fad or the newest way to do things because our focus is on Jesus and His supremacy—in everything. We sa

y, “All of Jesus,” because we also believe that it’s possible to believe things about Jesus but not surrender our lives to Him. It is only in that full surrender that we resonate with His heartbeat, offering the hope only He can provide to the world’s marginalized and overlooked. That’s why the Alliance family has a 140-some year history of leaning in, together, on Jesus’ big assignment—fulfill His Great Commission. We’re about taking “All of Jesus” to “All the World”—that’s why we take His loving message to our neighbors and the nations and to the nations that have come to our neighborhoods. Our Mission–The Great Commission
Jesus’ last words before His glorious ascension into heaven were given as a commission to His disciples. This Great Commission remains a command—a mandate—to every believer in Jesus Christ. His Great Commission is the call of The Christian and Missionary Alliance. Statement of Faith
What The Alliance believes is foundational in its teachings about God and how He relates to us and how we relate to Him. Based on His written Word, the Bible, we are compelled to serve God and the people of His world. We live and die by these words and believe they bring the only life worth living—one wholly committed to the King Jesus.

We are still planning to have church in the morning. The snow is not going to accumulate until later afternoon.

If conditions change late tonight or tomorrow morning, we will send out a notice via text and on our page.

The Annual BOM meeting is also on for tomorrow, but we can assess the conditions by the end of morning service and adjust. Pastor Bret

Snow Closure Announcement - Sunday, January 25th

Due to the coming large storm, Countryside Alliance Church will be closed. The safety of our church family is our priority, and we encourage everyone to remain off the roads as conditions worsen on Sunday.

Please take this time to read your Bible, spend intentional time in prayer, and enjoy being together with your families. Even when we cannot gather in person, we remain united in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If anyone in our church family is in need of last minute supplies to prepare for the extended storm, please reach out to one of the Elders or Deacons so we can help where needed.

Going Forward

• Our Budget Q&A will move to Sunday, February 15th at 3:30 pm, following our normal Fellowship Lunch.
• Our Annual Meeting will move to Sunday, February 22nd, following normal Sunday services.
• Our Men’s Breakfast is still on for tomorrow morning, Saturday, January 24th at 8:30 PM.

Please continue to watch for updates as needed. Stay safe, stay warm, and remain anchored in Christ.

Countryside family, due to the timing of the storm and with several families still recovering from sickness, we will be closing church services tomorrow. Our fellowship lunch will be moved to next week, the food will taste just as good then. Enjoy the unexpected time at home, read your Bible, pray, rest, drink an extra cup of coffee, and be encouraged in the Lord. Stay safe sledding, and we look forward to being together soon.

Good morning church family,

Due to today’s extra generous snowfall, we are calling a snow day and services are canceled. The roads are slick, the shovels are tired, and we would rather see you safe at home than heroically sliding into the parking lot.

Stay warm, enjoy the unexpected Sabbath rest, read your Bible in your slippers, and feel free to sing worship loudly where no one can hear you miss a note.

We look forward to gathering again soon, Lord willing and snow permitting.

What an amazing night together. We are so grateful for everyone who came out to our church Thanksgiving dinner. Friends, families, visitors, and new faces filled the room with joy, laughter, and a wonderful sense of community.

Thank you to everyone who cooked, served, cleaned, encouraged, and helped make the evening special. Your kindness and teamwork reflected the heart of Christ in such a beautiful way.

As we head into the rest of this season, may we continue to give thanks for all that God has done, and all that He is still doing in our church family.

Happy Thanksgiving, Countryside Alliance Church. We are grateful for you.
