Brave - Pt 1

Heavenly Father,

You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the One who holds the clouds and commands the rain. Your Word says in Jeremiah 5:24 (CSB), “Let’s fear the Lord our God, who gives the rain, both autumn and spring, in season.”

So Lord, we come before You in humility, acknowledging that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We ask that You would send rain upon the land. Open the heavens and pour out what is needed—refresh the land, restore what is dry, and bring life where there has been lack.

Your Word declares in Zechariah 10:1 (CSB), “Ask the Lord for rain in the season of spring rain. The Lord makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain.” So we ask, Lord—send the rain. Let it fall in Your perfect timing and in abundance.

But God, we don’t just ask for natural rain—we ask for spiritual rain. Pour out Your Spirit like rain on dry ground. As You promised in Isaiah 44:3 (CSB), “For I will pour water on the thirsty land and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants.”

Revive hearts. Renew faith. Restore joy. Let there be a fresh outpouring of Your presence in our lives, our homes, and our communities.

We trust You, Lord. You are faithful to provide.

Send the rain—in the natural and in the Spirit.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
