This afternoon we held our 10th annual Women’s Retreat. Our own Iris Sims was the featured speaker and what a wonderful message she had for us. Her theme, “Do You Sweat the Small Stuff? Finding God’s Extraordinary Faithfulness in Ordinary Moments,” was such a powerful message for all of us. The talented Blayre Todd provided the music and as always it was beautiful. It has been such a great day! Praise God for all these blessings.

Today we celebrate all women of the church. Several members were selected and recognized for their outstanding service. Our “Woman of the Year” is Carolyn Lee. Mary Ann Kicklighter and Jaime Colbert were honored as “Silent Disciples.” Congratulations to these ladies. They are all hard working and dependable women for God’s kingdom. We love and treasure all three of them.

What a fun time with our special guest artist, Gail! Made Inc hosted their first painting party and was enjoyed by all. The last picture shows the finished product of some of the participants. We didn’t get everyone.

We took a couple of months off but now we are back at it! Giving out free lunch bags this week from 4:00 to 5:30 at Bethany Church of Ellabell!
