Sometimes the hardest moments in life shrink our perspective.

All we can see is the pain.
The uncertainty.
The questions we can’t answer.

That’s where Psalm 77 begins.
The psalmist is overwhelmed, anxious, and struggling to understand what God is doing.

But then something shifts.

Instead of staying trapped in his own thoughts, he starts remembering the works of God.
He recalls God’s faithfulness.
His power.
His redemption.
The way God made a path through the sea when there seemed to be no way forward.

Psalm 77 reminds us that perspective changes when we stop obsessing over our story and start remembering God’s story.

Because when your life becomes the center, fear grows.
But when God becomes the center, faith begins to rise again.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do in a season of confusion is remember who God has already proven Himself to be.

“Your way, O God, is holy… You are the God who works wonders.” — Psalm 77:13-14

Whether re realize it or not screens have a formative effect on people, especially kids. As parents we’re called to be intentional and mindful about when and how our kids interact with technology. The goal is making little disciples but technology may not be helping.

Psalm 75 is a reminder that God is never absent, never unaware, and never out of control.

When the world feels unstable…
When pride seems to win…
When injustice feels unchecked…

God says: “At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity.” — Psalm 75:2

We don’t have to carry the weight of being our own judge, defender, or savior. God sees. God knows.
