Last night, Fairfield Prep President Dr. Christian Cashman was honored to speak at Congregation B'nai Israel's Slichot gathering, a sacred moment in the Jewish tradition of preparation and reflection ahead of the High Holy Days.
Selichot is a deeply meaningful moment in the Jewish calendar, a time of prayer, reflection, and the pursuit of forgiveness in preparation for the High Holy Days. It is a tradition rooted in the belief that the work of reconciliation is holy, and that communities grow stronger when they turn toward one another with honesty and humility.
At Fairfield Prep, we believe faith calls us beyond our own walls into relationship, dialogue, and genuine partnership with our neighbors. We are grateful to Congregation B'nai Israel for this meaningful invitation and for the friendship between our communities.
