Please consider donating to our not for profit fundraiser, “Hope Blooms in Bridgeport”! Be part of ending hunger in our neighborhood and beyond.

Let's get to the root of the matter...

Hope Blooms in Bridgeport, our 13th annual fundraiser, is a mere TWO DAYS AWAY.

The problems we attempt to mitigate; namely, food insecurity in our city, are the results of deep-rooted, systemic issues.

They are forces that, at times, feel too big to fight.

Our solution?

Digging deep...

Leaning into community.

Setting down roots so strong that, as the beautiful proverb here states, not even the harshest winds can threaten them.

That is community.

That is HOPE...

Please join us this Wednesday for Hope Blooms in Bridgeport. 💚

Sunday at United: Celebrate Pentecost Sunday! 🔥

Join us tomorrow morning at **10:00 AM** as we observe **Pentecost Sunday**—a dynamic celebration of the Holy Spirit, community, and the birth of the Church!

Here is a glimpse of what makes tomorrow’s service so special:

* **A Celebration of Many Voices:** Experience a powerful Pentecost Scripture Reading from Acts 2, featuring members of our community reading in Spanish, Hausa, Italian, Patois, French, German, Armenian, Portuguese, and maybe even a unique “South Jersey” regional touch! 🌍❤️

* **Inspiring Music:** Lift your spirits with moving performances from Mr. Tom Cuffari and the Chancel Choir, including the special piece *”Winds of Pentecost”* and the uplifting anthem *”We Fill the Sanctuary.”* 🎶

* **Community Milestones:** Alongside our prayers and worship, we are pleased introduce, and commission our Called Search Committee** as we look toward the future of our church together.

Whether you love traditional hymns, deep community prayer, or just want to feel the energy of the Spirit moving us forward, there is a place for you in the pews. Come as you are, and let’s celebrate the journey together!

👇 **Tag a friend or neighbor who needs a welcoming place to worship!**

📜 **Words to Reflect On:** *“To put it simply: the Holy Spirit bothers us. Because it moves us, it makes us walk, it pushes the church to go forward...”* — Pope Francis

Dinnerchurch was electric tonight! Full house - a fun and amped up group, taco salad, a great sermon by Rev. Sara on why we pray, communion, and of course, “the most delicious bread!

And our chancel choir sang a Jelly Roll song, “Need a Favor” featuring our own Joe Elbertson.

How cool are we?
