Our Lottery Tree for our upcoming Summer Fair needs watering and fertilizer. Please help our budding tree come alive again with your donations of lottery scratch tickets (unscratched of course)! Please place your donated tickets in an envelope labeled "Lottery Tickets" and deposit it in the collection basket at Mass or at the Parish Office.

It was a great experience to witness some of our young parishioners receiving their First Holy Communion last Sunday at 10:00am Mass. I want to thank their families for supporting them in their faith journey and Meg Wile and Janet Rengucci for preparing them well for this wonderful sacrament.

Also, we have a new staff member joining our OLC Ministry on May 18th. Stefanie Murray will begin her role as Ministry Coordinator and Pastoral Outreach. Stefanie will assist with ministry coordination and minister in pastoral outreach by creating opportunities for parish engagement to foster community and growth. Diane Rinkacs is transitioning into a full-time teaching role at a local Catholic high school and will remain with us in a part-time capacity continuing to create and lead dynamic adult faith formation programs, and the coordination and support of our OCIA program. We thank Diane for her ministry, leadership, and support her commitment to Catholic education as a teacher. Please welcome Stefanie as a new member of the staff as she looks forward to serving the OLC parish community.

Thank you to those who have already donated or pledged to the Diocesan Appeal. Your generosity strengthens the support the Diocese of Fall River can provide to parishes, Catholic schools, evangelization/faith formation, and many charitable causes around the Diocese.

Bible Study has resumed to finish the Gospel of John. We will meet Wednesday, May 13th and May 27th (tentative). We will pick up at Chapter 11. Meetings are in the Parish Center, St. Joseph Room.

No prior experience is necessary and all are welcome!
