The more I walk with God, the more I realize that nothing this world offers can compare to a relationship with Jesus.

Not because life suddenly becomes perfect.

But because you begin to know the One who never changes.

When you’ve experienced His faithfulness for yourself…

When He’s shown up for you in ways no one else could…

When He’s loved you when you least deserved it…

You can’t go back.

Jesus called it Living Water.

And once you’ve tasted it, nothing else satisfies the same.

“Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.” — John 4:14

One of the biggest lies Christians believe is that fully following Jesus means missing out.

Jesus said, “Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for Me will find it.” (Matthew 16:24-25)

Notice what He didn’t say.

He didn’t say you’ll lose your life and never get it back.

He said you’ll FIND it.

The very thing we’re afraid of losing is the very thing Jesus promises we’ll discover when we follow Him.

That’s why Jesus also said, “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Following Jesus isn’t about losing out. It’s about discovering the fullest, richest, sweetest life possible—the life He created you to live.

As you began to take steps to follow Him, He will meet you there, and you will start to see your life getting BETTER.

Want to learn why some Christians never fully follow Jesus and what happens when you trust Him completely?

Let the peace of God RULE in your heart.

Fear, anxiety, worry, offense, disappointment, doubt, frustration, and discouragement are all things that try to influence every believer at one point or another.

The difference isn’t whether you feel those things. The difference is what you do with them when they come.

As followers of Christ, we are not called to be ruled by our emotions. We are called to be ruled by the Word of God.

When fear says, “What if everything falls apart?” God’s Word says, “Fear not, for I am with you” (Isaiah 41:10).

When anxiety says, “You need to carry this on your own,” God’s Word says, “Cast all your cares upon Him because He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

When discouragement says, “Nothing is changing,” God’s Word says, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).

When thoughts come that don’t align with God’s truth, Scripture tells us to take them captive and make them obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

That doesn’t mean we deny our feelings. It means we refuse to give them the final say.

Feelings are real, but they are not our authority.

God’s Word is.

Just because a feeling is present doesn’t mean it gets a vote.

If you’re looking to build a faith that stands firm regardless of what the enemy, your circumstances, or your emotions throw your way, listen to our Foundational Truth for Life Podcast. Each episode is designed to help believers build their lives on Christ and establish a foundation that can withstand the test of time.

A life built on Christ doesn’t mean you’ll never be shaken. It means you’ll never have to be moved.

In order for me to follow God in a real and deeper way, I had to have a genuine encounter with Him personally.

Growing up in church and in a ministry family wasn’t enough. I knew about God, but there came a point where I needed to know Him for myself.

Everything changed when Jesus became real to me.

Since then, I’ve been doing my best to acknowledge Him in all my ways and trust Him to direct my paths.

This is the same for every Christian who desires to go all the way with Jesus—you can’t borrow someone else’s revelation. You can’t live off someone else’s testimony.

People can tell you about Jesus. They can preach, teach, and share their experiences. But there is nothing like God revealing His Son to your own heart.

And until you have that, your Christian walk remains shallow.

You know when you’ve encountered Him for yourself.

✨And when you discover Who Jesus is, you begin to discover who you are IN HIM.

A personal revelation of Jesus changes everything.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” — Hebrews 12:1

Here’s why overweight Christians never run their race… much less finish it.

Notice that Hebrews doesn’t just tell us to lay aside sin. It says to lay aside every weight.

Why?

Because you can’t run a race carrying around things that are slowing you down.

Think about it naturally. The heavier and more out of shape a runner is, the harder it is to run with endurance. The race becomes exhausting before it even gets started.

The same is true spiritually.

Many believers are carrying weights they were never meant to carry. Distractions. Compromise. Excuses. Unforgiveness. Worldliness. Comfort. Spiritual laziness.

And often the biggest weight of all is hearing God’s Word but never doing anything with it.

The Bible says, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1:22)

Overweight Christians are often overloaded with sermons, podcasts, teachings, books, and Bible studies—but they never put into practice what God has already shown them.

Knowledge without obedience becomes spiritual weight.

If you want to run your race well, lay aside the weights. Lay aside the sin. Obey what God has already spoken. Take the next step He’s put in front of you.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived sitting on the sidelines.

Run your race.

Finish your course.

And hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

The goodness of God on your life is supposed to preach.

It’s meant to make Jesus visible in every area of your life—your peace, your growth, your strength, your joy, and the way He carries you.

Your life should testify without you saying a word that God has been GOOD.

When people see His hand on your life, it should awaken hunger in them for the same reality—and draw their hearts toward Jesus.

🎧In Episode 21 of the Foundational Truths for Life podcast, living in a way that reflects God’s goodness and makes His reality undeniable is just one of the things we get into. 🙌

If you’re a Christian and feel like you’re barely getting by, overwhelmed, defeated, anxious, or life is just feeling “okay,” we’re here to help.

You love God, but maybe you just haven’t learned yet how to walk in all that Jesus has done for you.

“Make Heaven crowded”… but the funny thing is — Heaven could never actually be crowded. 😂☁️✨

I LOVE the heart behind that phrase because YES — let’s get as many people into Heaven as we possibly can. We should want EVERYONE to experience eternity with God.

But when you really think about it… even if every person from all of history got saved and spent eternity in Heaven, there would still be plenty of room for all of us. 🤯

God is a God of expansion, largeness, abundance, and greatness beyond what we can even comprehend—there is no tightness, constriction, or scarcity in Him.

The Bible says He stretched out the heavens, the earth is His footstool, and He owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He created galaxies we still haven’t fully discovered yet… so Heaven is going to be absolutely massive. ✨

Jesus said He is preparing MANSIONS for us. Not tiny cookie-cutter houses packed shoulder to shoulder. 😂 They’ll be beautiful, unique, intentional, and perfectly designed by a loving Father who knows exactly what each of His children loves.

I picture mountains, rivers, waterfalls, beauty, joy, worship, adventure, and the fullness of God everywhere. A place more glorious and alive than human words could ever explain. 🤍

So YES — let’s “make Heaven crowded.” Let’s bring every person we possibly can into the goodness and salvation of Jesus because eternity with Him is the most epic, beautiful, God-filled destination that exists. 🌎⭐️

The path of the just doesn’t get dimmer—it grows brighter and brighter. “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.” (Proverbs 4:18 NKJV)

God’s plan for your life doesn’t cap out, dry up, or run out. His goodness is unending, and His mercy and faithfulness are new every morning. “His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22–23 NKJV)

There comes a moment when you look back and feel overwhelmed by how far He has brought you… how wisely He led you… and how much better His plan was than anything you could have imagined.

There is no higher life, no fuller life, no better life than the life found in following Him.

In Episode 21 of the Foundational Truths for Life podcast, just some of what we get into is the amazing life God leads His people into—and why your best days in Him are not behind you.
