Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is worth celebrating.

Today we remember the day the news of freedom finally reached many who had been living as slaves. It’s a powerful reminder of the value of every person made in God’s image.

As Christians, we’re also reminded of an even greater freedom. Jesus came to set us free from sin through His death and resurrection, offering forgiveness, new life, and hope to all who trust in Him.

And just as the good news of freedom had to be carried to those who had not yet heard it, we have the privilege of sharing the Good News of Jesus with those who still need to hear.

Today we give thanks for freedom and pray that many would come to know the freedom found in Christ.
