Highlands Ministry Matt 28:19-20

"...make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everthing I have commanded you.And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

This weekend, together with Pedro and our friends Doug and Bridgette, we visited the community of Jubal, about four and a half hours from Riobamba. This church has been part of our ministry and was trained by our brother José Atupaña for a couple of years. It was a great blessing to spend time with this congregation and witness what God is doing in this community.

As Acts 1:8 reminds us, “You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of advancing the Gospel in rural communities and sharing the hope of Christ with others.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside the community of Nitiluisa in building a concrete floor for Gloria, a widow in the community. ❤️ Thank you to Azusa Pacific University and every helping hand that made this project possible.

Two beautiful days of Pop Up Clinic alongside Asuza Pacific University in Nitiluisa, a community of around 300 families. APU was able to serve and care for nearly 70 elderly people in the community, sharing not only medical attention, but also love, compassion, and hope.

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the opportunity to receive this amazing group of university students for the second year in a row. Their servant hearts have truly been a blessing to our community.

We are thankful to our Heavenly Father for allowing us to serve together and reflect His love through every conversation, prayer, and act of kindness. 🤍

All glory to God!

“Whatever you did for one of the the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40 ✨

🧶🏔️
In the communities of Guamote, the tradition of spinning wool by hand continues to be passed down from generation to generation.

Many Kichwa women still use the pushka to transform wool into thread, preserving a heritage filled with history, hard work, and love for their community. 🤍

Every thread represents patience.
Every textile reflects identity.
Every generation carries a story.

It reminds us that God is also working quietly, weaving hope into every family and every heart. ✨

“For we are His workmanship…” — Ephesians 2:10

We pray for Guamote, for its communities, its children, and the women who continue preserving the beauty of their roots while planting faith and hope for the future. 🇪🇨

We feel so blessed to walk alongside these children in their spiritual growth. Tío Cajas is one of the communities we have had the joy of serving for the past 4 years. We have watched these children grow not only in height, but also in their knowledge of God’s Word.

Our prayer is to see them become faithful children of the Lord, ready to serve Him and fulfill His will.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." — Proverbs 22:6
