Jesus said, “Go.” Go beyond what is familiar.
Go where the Gospel needs to be heard. Go willing to serve, listen, pray, encourage and love people you may never have met otherwise.
These photos are from one of our missions to Thailand, but they represent something much bigger than one trip or one country.
There is a world full of people God loves—and an extraordinary privilege given to ordinary believers: we get to carry the hope of Jesus to them.
You don’t need to be a pastor.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You don’t need to feel completely ready.
You simply need to be willing.

Please pray with us for Nepal!

We received heartbreaking news from our ministry partners in Nepal following devastating flooding in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot areas.

Churches have been destroyed or badly damaged. Pastors and believers are missing. We have been told that lives have been lost, and local church leaders are desperately searching for members of their congregations.

One of those leaders is Pastor Dil Bahadur. He was attending a pastors' conference when he had to leave and return home to search for missing believers from his church. This is not the first tragedy he has endured. In the devastating 2015 Nepal earthquake, Pastor Dil lost seven people close to him. WMA later served alongside him, holding a medical clinic for earthquake survivors in his community.

This news is especially personal to us.

World Missions Alliance has served in Nepal since 2010, and when the great earthquake struck in 2015, we returned to minister among people who had lost homes, loved ones and nearly everything familiar to them. Over the years, these pastors and churches have become more than ministry contacts. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Today, they need the Body of Christ to stand with them again.

Please pray specifically:

For those who are still missing to be found.

For families grieving the loss of loved ones.

For Pastor Dil and the other pastors searching for members of their churches while facing their own losses.

For shelter, food, medical care and other immediate needs of those who have been displaced.

For strength and supernatural peace for the churches that have suffered so much.

For God to guide local believers and ministry partners as they respond in the days ahead.

Scripture tells us to “weep with those who weep.” Today, part of the Body of Christ in Nepal is weeping.

Please stop for a moment and pray for them. And if you know someone who will pray with us, share this post so that more believers can lift Nepal before the Lord.

Mission trip memories from Bali… with one very unusual team member.A few years ago, WMA had the opportunity to serve in beautiful Bali, Indonesia—sharing the love of Christ, building relationships, experiencing a completely different culture… and apparently making friends with a luwak along the way. Luwak works very hard "proccessing" coffee beans that make the BEST coffee in the world. 😉
Mission trips have a way of giving you memories you could never plan for. Some are deeply spiritual. Some are incredibly moving.And some make you look back at a photo years later and think, “Well, THAT happened.”These pictures remind us of the people, places and unexpected moments that make every mission unique—and how grateful we are for every opportunity God has given us to carry the Gospel around the world.

Someone needs to hear this today!
It’s never too late. Not too late to answer the call you’ve felt for years.

Not too late to use the gifts and experience God has spent a lifetime developing in you.

Not too late to do something that scares you a little. Not too late to get on that plane.

Not too late to discover that your next chapter can still hold some of your greatest adventures with God. Moses was 80 when God sent him back to Egypt. Caleb was 85 when he said, “Give me this mountain.” Our culture may talk a lot about slowing down as we get older.

The Kingdom of God talks about finishing well.

So if there’s something God has been stirring in your heart for years, perhaps the question isn’t:

“Am I too old?” Perhaps it’s: “Lord, is it finally time?”

Your age doesn't disqualify you. Your life experience may be exactly what God intends to use.

POV: You finally stopped saying “someday.”

Someday when work slows down. Someday when the kids are older. Someday when you have more money. Someday when you know more about the Bible. Someday when you feel more qualified.

And then one day, you simply say yes.

You board the plane nervous. You meet people whose names you didn’t know a week ago.
You pray with someone whose language you don’t speak. You watch God use something in you that you never thought was particularly useful. You laugh harder than you expected.
You come home with new friends, a bigger view of God—and a very different definition of what matters.

And suddenly you realize:

“Someday” was never on the calendar.
You had to put it there.

Where could your yes take you?

For 27 years, we’ve watched ordinary people step onto airplanes carrying plenty of questions—and come home with stories of what God did when they were willing to say yes. Teachers, nurses, business owners, retirees, pastors, parents. People on their first mission trip and people on their twentieth. They are not superheroes. Just followers of Christ who made themselves available.

And sometimes it looks like sitting beside someone, listening to their story, praying together, and reminding them that they are seen and loved by God. ❤️
These moments are from our WMA team serving in a Roma settlement in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Different language. Different culture. Different life experiences.

But the Gospel crosses every boundary.

This is why we go—not simply to visit another country, but to meet people where they are, serve with humility, and point them to the One whose love knows no borders.

Some of the most profound moments happen far from a church building.
Behind the walls of a private courtyard in China, believers quietly gathered to do something Christians have done for nearly 2,000 years: publicly identify with Jesus through baptism.
No stage. No elaborate production. Just water, faith, and people willing to say, “I belong to Christ.”
For many of us, baptism can happen openly and without fear. Moments like this remind us not to take that freedom—or the courage of our brothers and sisters around the world—for granted.
Looking at these pictures, one verse comes to mind:
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that… we too may live a new life.” — Romans 6:4
Take a moment today to pray for believers in Asia and for Christians everywhere who follow Jesus when doing so comes at a cost.

Because when Christ brings people together, distance doesn't determine the depth of a relationship.
