It's tough when your life doesn't match scripture. Honesty and a plea for help are the first steps. But knowing the Bible isn't enough; living it is key. True impact comes when our actions align with our faith, not perfection, but a constant pursuit of obedience.

In the Bible Belt, many know the stories of Jesus' birth, miracles, and resurrection. But simply knowing or believing these truths isn't enough for salvation. True salvation comes from saving faith, trusting in God's power to rescue us from our sin, just as Rahab was saved.

Church Family,

It is with great sadness that we learned this morning of Crickett’s passing.

Please keep her family in your prayers during this difficult time. Cricket was a very special and important part of our church family, and she will be deeply missed. She held a special place in the hearts of her Sunday School class, the Misfits, and in the lives of so many at Oakdale.

While our hearts are heavy, we can find comfort knowing that Cricket is now with our Lord.

As we receive information about the arrangements, we will share it with the church family.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
— Matthew 5:4

With love and prayers,

Oakdale
