If every person had to go through life wearing a sign around their neck that displayed the secrets of who they really were, what would your sign say? For example if you constantly stole from others your sign would read "THEIF". If you just cant seem to tell the truth for any reason, your sign would say "LIAR". Some other examples would be DRUG ADDICT, ANGRY, JEALOUS, ADULTEROUS ABUSIVE, CHILD MOLESTER, RA**ST, MURDERER, PLAYER, W***E, EVIL, PASSIONATE, HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, DEPENDABLE, FAITHFUL.

You would be forced to wear this sign for everyone to see who you really are, there would be no hiding it or covering it up, no faking it. People would see you for you. How do you think you would live then? Would you want to change who and what you are if this was a reality? Well it is a reality.. God knows and sees exactly who you are and what your doing and there is no hiding it from him. Think about that for a while.

LIFE'S DECISIONS CAN LAST A LIFETIME

Looking back at my life from my teenage years through my early adulthood, it's very easy for me to see how the choices I made back them affected my entire life. Now that I'm able to look back 20 to 25 years ago, it actually scares me to remember some of the things I have done and tried in my life. How stupid I was at some points in my life, I shouldn't be alive today in many of the situations I put myself in. Many times I just went along with friends, you know we always did everything together but I can't help but think that if I had stayed home sometimes or just said "naw Bru I'm good" how things in my life would have turned out. Now don't get me wrong I had some good friends in high school and even after school, we were as close as any brothers could ever be. But I know that we loved drinking and partying and avoiding any and all responsibility that we encountered. We blew any money we made on drugs and alcohol and this continued on into my early and late 20's actually. It wasn't until my 30's until I started slowing down a little, but it took me until my early 40's to really grow up and become responsible and act mature or more like and adult. What if I had saved my money from back then until today, instead of always blowing it? What if I had not drank so much and stayed in bars and fights all the time? What If I had just listened to my parents and others who cared about and loved me, and tried so many times to talk to me and tell me it wasn't going to end well on the road I had chosen.

Life is a gift and should be treated as one. The influence that our lives have on others is tremendous whether we know it or not. People always idolize other people. You say
" no not me , nobody looks at my life". Your wrong! It could be the neighbors kid down the street or a neice or nephew, it can be and is some one I assure you, it may be your own child.
But I wasted over half my life doing stuff I should have never done or tried to start with. Instead of being that no good dope head or that wild and crazy guy everyone saw, I could have been someone who had a bright future ahead of him. All I had to do is not be so worried about having "FUN" so much. There was plenty of time to have fun but I just couldn't wait for it so I made my own. Wrong decision now that I'm looking back at my life.
Have friends, you need them, but be yourself and don't go against how you were raised, most of us were raised correctly by good and loving parents who just wanted the best for us. I don't want my kids or any kid to go through any of the things me and so many others have because they want to be cool, fit in or have fun. You'll learn the hard way, it's not fun at all , it becomes a lifestyle that's hard to escape.
