If every person had to go through life wearing a sign around their neck that displayed the secrets of who they really were, what would your sign say? For example if you constantly stole from others your sign would read "THEIF". If you just cant seem to tell the truth for any reason, your sign would say "LIAR". Some other examples would be DRUG ADDICT, ANGRY, JEALOUS, ADULTEROUS ABUSIVE, CHILD MOLESTER, RA**ST, MURDERER, PLAYER, W***E, EVIL, PASSIONATE, HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, DEPENDABLE, FAITHFUL.

You would be forced to wear this sign for everyone to see who you really are, there would be no hiding it or covering it up, no faking it. People would see you for you. How do you think you would live then? Would you want to change who and what you are if this was a reality? Well it is a reality.. God knows and sees exactly who you are and what your doing and there is no hiding it from him. Think about that for a while.

WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR NATION!!

For a country that people say was not built on Godly principles and was not formed as a Christian nation, I purpose this challenge to you. I also want to address the idea that so many have today that God doesn't exist.

Let's go back in time a little ways, back to when people lived a simple life. Let's explore the times of our past in this country when people worked for what they needed and wanted. Back when families grew a garden for their own vegetables and raised animals for meat and produce , when kids had chores and did them daily without any rebuke. Let's look at the American families who knelt beside their kids bed every night and said their bed time prayers and we're taught to pray by their parents. Look back at how men worked 6 days a week and on Sundays took their family to church to honor God for what they had, thanked God for every meal placed on the table before they ate. Look at how families sat down and ate meals together every evening and parents knew all about their children and what they were doing. Momma got up and prepared breakfast seven days a week for her family had lunch ready by 12 noon daily and dinner on the table by 530 every evening, and on Sundays had a big meal ready to share together when they arrived back home after church. This is when children were taught to honor thy mother and father

Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Children had respect for their elders, it wasn't asked of them to do this. It was demanded and expected.
Children had responsibilities from an early age. It never once hurt them, they grew to be responsible, respectable adults with morals and values but most importantly they were raised believing in God and to honor Him in their lives.

Proverbs 22:6 KJV

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Crime was lower back when families honored and acknowledged God. Teen pregnancy was not common because young ladies had respect for themselves their family and God. Young men had respect for the young ladies not to dishonor them by sexual advances, because they were raised in this manner.
Yet today we see crime rates at an all time high, teen pregnancy soaring, murder escalating, disrespect for authority and law , marriages not meant to last forever, disrespect of parents, no morals or values being taught. And you say this country was not built as a Christian nation, well it may not have been for the sake of arguments, but when God was honored in families and taught in our homes and schools things were different, things were better, things were right.
Now we are faced with every one under the age of 18 in an identity crisis, thinking they are in the wrong body, believing that they were born to be homosexual. This is the biggest lie SATAN has ever created. We have Transgender' s sharing public restrooms now. You can believe that America wasn't formed as a Christian nation, but it was a much better place when God was held up and honored versus what we have today.

And if God isn't real and don't exist, why have things continued to only get worse when we stopped acknowledging God in our families and country. Why are there no morals in these younger people today. It's Because God's blessings are not on them anymore, we have forsaken God and his teachings. If you can't see this than you have been blinded by the lies of Satan.

You want change in your children, your life, your families then get back to God and honor Him and God will honor your efforts.God is the answer to all these problems and without him what we see happening in this country now is what we are left with.

God is our only hope and He is the only answer..

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THERE IS A HELL?

I need to ask a very sincere and deserving question. Don't be shocked or blown away by this but I'm curious how many will answer yes. Here it is.

1)DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THERE IS A HELL?

2)A LITERAL FIRE AND BRIMSTONE BURNING LAKE OF FIRE WHERE THE UNSAVED AND SINNER WILL BE CAST INTO ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT?

In asking this question I must also say this,
If we believe any part of the bible, any part of it, we must believe all of it. You can not believe some parts and not the rest. Doesn't work that way. There is no half way with God, no in between or riding the fence. You either believe in God or you dont. You are either saved or your not. Your either on your way to heaven or on your way to hell. No maybes. Now if your certain you've been born again and saved by the blood of Christ you are 100% saved with no doubts.
If your 99% sure you are saved, I'm sorry to inform you but your 100% lost. You know if you have been saved or not, there is no doubt when Jesus changes someone's life.

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. You see my point to all of this is if we as Christians really believe in HELL, a literal burning place of torment. Why are we not out in the streets begging people to turn from sin, to turn from the evil and wickedness that has this world so enslaved.

How many family members do you have that you know by their life they live are not saved. Only the born again, the redeemed, those who's name is written in the Lambs Book of Life shall enter heaven .

Revelation 20:11‭-‬15 KJV

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Why are we not persistent in our preaching of the gospel to the that we love and care so much about? If we really believed in the Hell the bible describes we wouldn't be able to rest from the fear of our children, brothers , sisters, parents and friends who are on their way to a Devils Hell for eternity. Time is running out, and and the day of the Lord is at hand drawing closer each and everyday.

Father I pray for these who do not know you, those who have denied and rejected you. Father I ask that the Holy Spirit move upon them and their hearts be drawn to you and their eyes be opened to the truth.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

LIFE'S DECISIONS CAN LAST A LIFETIME

Looking back at my life from my teenage years through my early adulthood, it's very easy for me to see how the choices I made back them affected my entire life. Now that I'm able to look back 20 to 25 years ago, it actually scares me to remember some of the things I have done and tried in my life. How stupid I was at some points in my life, I shouldn't be alive today in many of the situations I put myself in. Many times I just went along with friends, you know we always did everything together but I can't help but think that if I had stayed home sometimes or just said "naw Bru I'm good" how things in my life would have turned out. Now don't get me wrong I had some good friends in high school and even after school, we were as close as any brothers could ever be. But I know that we loved drinking and partying and avoiding any and all responsibility that we encountered. We blew any money we made on drugs and alcohol and this continued on into my early and late 20's actually. It wasn't until my 30's until I started slowing down a little, but it took me until my early 40's to really grow up and become responsible and act mature or more like and adult. What if I had saved my money from back then until today, instead of always blowing it? What if I had not drank so much and stayed in bars and fights all the time? What If I had just listened to my parents and others who cared about and loved me, and tried so many times to talk to me and tell me it wasn't going to end well on the road I had chosen.

Life is a gift and should be treated as one. The influence that our lives have on others is tremendous whether we know it or not. People always idolize other people. You say
" no not me , nobody looks at my life". Your wrong! It could be the neighbors kid down the street or a neice or nephew, it can be and is some one I assure you, it may be your own child.
But I wasted over half my life doing stuff I should have never done or tried to start with. Instead of being that no good dope head or that wild and crazy guy everyone saw, I could have been someone who had a bright future ahead of him. All I had to do is not be so worried about having "FUN" so much. There was plenty of time to have fun but I just couldn't wait for it so I made my own. Wrong decision now that I'm looking back at my life.
Have friends, you need them, but be yourself and don't go against how you were raised, most of us were raised correctly by good and loving parents who just wanted the best for us. I don't want my kids or any kid to go through any of the things me and so many others have because they want to be cool, fit in or have fun. You'll learn the hard way, it's not fun at all , it becomes a lifestyle that's hard to escape.

THE GREATEST TITLE YOU WILL EVER HOLD

We all will and have played various roles through out our lives. Many of these positions or titles that we have the opportunity to be a part of are very important and can change and affect our loves forever. We as men are known as the "bread winner" as the responsibility of providing falls upon us, not only are we responsible for providing shelter, food and clothes for our families we have a responsibility to raise our children to trust in and know God. Out of every title or position you ever hold there us none that is more important and honorable than "DAD" or "DADDY". As the man and husband you are the leader of your household, you are the Spiritual leader of your family. There is nothing more important than this. A child will become the product of their environment, meaning that if they are raised with love and affection, kindness, trust worthy, honesty and by Godly principles and values then that is what they will produce in their adult lives. A man should always treat his wife the way he wants someone to treat his own daughter, a man should work and not be lazy, a man needs to be the kind of man and father that he wants his children to be to his grandchildren and he needs to teach his children to pray . A man needs to let his children know that it's ok to cry, that it's OK to show affection and that when it's time to be strong there is nothing that will move you. A father is the most important and influential parts of a child's life, they are always watching and learning from us. They study us and our every action and reaction and the decisions we make. The way your raise your child could mean the difference in Heaven or Hell and so could the way you live your life in front of your children. God made fathers the head of the family and it's a great and honorable position and title and should not be taken lightly. Any male can be a daddy but it takes a man to be a "FATHER". Blood does not make you a father nor does having the same name, it's how you accept the responsibility of that title that determines who you are. WILL THIS SILENT SIN KEEP YOU FROM ENTERING HEAVEN?

People can say and think what they want to about living in the south, but I wouldn't trade my life here for anything. I'm from one of the southern states, Mississippi to be exact. I grew up in not only the south but in the country and I say that with pride. You see the media and some of the northern states portray the south as racist and hateful, but I am gone have to disagree with these views from people who dont know what they are talking about. Now I know racism exist here in the south, I'm not blind nor am I ignorant to the facts. But can you please show me one state or city or town where there isn't some form of racism among the people. You see the south is a place of hospitality and a place where friendship is valued, where traditions and heritage run deep in the lives of the people here. We teach our children to respect others and their property, as well as their elders, we say yes mam' and no sir. This is a southern way of life, the respect and the values that we hold, not a black or white thing. Color has no bearing on who you hold the door open for walking out of a store or who you call mam or sir. The south has a history of hate and separation of color, but it's a history that isnt all true. People here do love the Confederate Flag, but it's not the Confederacy that is loved so much as it is the name and meaning of it. The Rebel Flag, you see we love the idea of the Rebel, the outlaw, the bandit . The idea of the Rebel means uncontrollable, rebellious, it stands for freedom and it has become the image of the south. It's also a beautiful flag and the design is awesome. I live here in the south and I don't hardly ever see hate or racism as the media tells it. Oh its here alright, but it's everywhere, even in places it has no place being like D.C., in our government, in our churches, in our pastors and in the homes and hearts of so called christians.
I'm gone say this knowing many will will disagree but someone needs to say it.
If you have hate toward another person, and it doesn't matter what color you or they are, if you have hate and are racist! Then your not a Christian ! Now did you get that? God is love, and to say that you know God and have not love then you are a liar. Jesus said this is the greatest commandment of all-" Love one another as I have loved you". He did not say love those who deserve it, He did not say love those who you like or the ones of the same color and race as you. "Love thy enemy as thyself".
There will be no liars enter the kingdom of heaven, no whoremongers, adulterers, back bitters, no theives, no murderers. The point is that if you say your a Christian yet you hate people of a different color then that makes you a "LIAR" you also have "HATE" and just one of these can keep you from entering heaven. You can not have any bitterness and say you have forgiven someone, "FORGIVE" and you shall be forgiven. If anyone ever had a reason to hate or hold bitterness, not show love or love others it was Christ. Because he was hated and despised, mocked and whipped (beaten with a cat of nine tails) scourged with meat being ripped from his body. Beaten to a bloody mess, then he was made to carry his on cross after the torture and humiliation. Made to carry his own tool of death, and he did. He forgave those he beat him, who spat on him, who mocked him and made fun of him. He loved the ones who drove the nails in his hands and feet, he forgave those who called for his crucifixion, and he loved you as all of your sins were placed upon him to take the punishment for the sins he never committed but that you committed. Jesus paid a debt that he did not owe because you owed a debt that you could not pay.
"There is no greater love than to lay down your own life for another". Not a friend , not a family member, not a good person or a deserving person, but for another.
Can you say with 100% accuracy that you have love, that your not racist, that you love your enemy, that you have no hate or bitterness toward another? If you can't honestly say yes, then it's time for you to pray and ask to be forgiven. We all need God's forgiveness and the blood of Jesus is the only way to be redeemed. Racism cannot exist in the hearts or lives of a Christian and if you are racist, you are not a Christian by any standard. God's word will not be comprimised or altered. There will be millions who think that they are going to heaven that will not because of this hate and racism. Even people in the south, no matter what position you hold at the church, or how many times you attend church every week. Works will not get you through the kingdoms gates. Think about this, and do something about it now, not tomorrow. God is waiting for you right now to call upon him.

FACEBOOK MAY COME WITH A PRICE YOU DONT WANT TO PAY

We live in a world that is always changing and we also believe that change is always needed or improvement is the answer. We have allowed ourselves and everything we own to be controlled by technology. Now I know it's great that cell phones came about so that people could be reached at any time for emergencies and so forth, but looking back 20 years ago who would have thought that everyone from 6 or 7 to 95 would have one of these devices. We don't just have a cell phone for emergencies, no it's much larger and worse than that. What we have today is an obsession , an addiction, our entire life is wrapped up in a cell phone. Look at this, you don't know where your spouse or your child is every minute of the day but I guarantee that you always know exactly where your phone is. Why? Because your always on it for something such as - texting, talking , video chat, researching google, on Facebook, Twitter, 4square, playing games or on an app. We can't survive without these phones . People in relationships will text all day long but get around each other and dont know how to communicate with each other, parents don't spend time with kids anymore because the parents and kids are stuck to a phone.

And now to my point of this post. Along with cell phones came social media, which seemed like a great idea at the time. I never did support Facebook or Myspace when they came out, because it was a big risk you were taking . What I mean is this. When you have Facebook you are connected to people who are in your life now or have been at one time and some people dont need to be in any part of your life, at all. Facebook is the number
one cause of divorce in America today and rightly so, people are able to flirt, make advances and even send photos to each other through Messenger. Don't get me wrong it is a brilliant platform and idea, but it's bad for a marriage. If you are married and have facebook you and your spouse should share an account or you should at least have each other's passwords to their accounts. Facebook is the last place that a married person should need or want privacy. In fact if you are married there is no privacy there should be no secrets whatsoever between the two of you. When you became husband and wife you became one together, there is no mine and yours, everything becomes ours in a marriage. If you think you need to have privacy on Facebook you have already been cheating or flirting with someone on there ,if your friends list is hidden from your spouse and your mutual friends are available to be seen , it's because you've become friends with someone you shouldn't and you know it.
You can disagree with me on this I'm ok with that, but I will promise you this. Your marriage will end in a divorce over Facebook and trust issues in the near future. You can say
" oh we have a great relationship," " we trust each other completely". I'm glad you have that now but social media will destroy that trust and the faithfulness in one or both of you. And we call technology a wonderful thing and it's something we need and desire more than everything else.
