Sundays are fun for our Shoal Kids at every age! 💙 We love seeing even our littlest ones learning, growing, and being part of our church family! 🥰

Our Shoal Kids dug into the book of Daniel during Life Groups yesterday morning. They read how Daniel stayed faithful to God and continued to pray, even when it meant facing the lions’ den. 🦁 God protected Daniel, and King Darius saw that Daniel’s God is the living and true God! Ask your child, “What is one way you can stay faithful to God when it’s hard?” and pray together for courage to always trust Him.

In Kids Worship, we finished our “Difference Makers” series reading from Acts 5. Kids learned how Jesus performed a miracle by helping Simon Peter and the other fishermen catch an abundance of fish, showing His power and authority. 🎣 Jesus called them to follow Him and share the good news with others, reminding us that the church works together to spread the gospel. Be praying for the missionaries we have learned about during “Difference Makers”. Encourage your child to name one way they can share the love of Jesus with someone around them!

Unshakable: God Is Faithful 💙

Last night at Midweek, our grade schoolers continued the series “Unshakable” by learning about Joseph and how God remained faithful through all the difficult things Joseph faced.

Even when life doesn’t go as planned, God is faithful, even when things go bad! 🙌 We can trust that God is with us through the hard times and that He is always at work, even when we can’t see it.

Our preschoolers learned about how God provided a way for Moses and the Israelites to escape Egypt even when it seemed like there was no way to escape! 🌊

What a great reminder for kids and families that no matter what we face, we can trust our faithful God! ✨

✏️ Verse Erase Challenge!

Help your kids memorize this month's Bible verse:
"Love the Lord your God, obey Him, and remain faithful to Him."
Deuteronomy 30:20

Have your child write the verse and reference on a piece of paper, then read it aloud together a few times. Erase one word at a time, saying the entire verse aloud and filling in the missing words from memory. Keep erasing words until the paper is blank, then challenge your child to recite the whole verse, including Deuteronomy 30:20, from memory!

Our Shoal Kids didn't let the rain slow down the fun this morning! 🌧

This morning in Life Group our Shoal Kids learned that God gave Joshua and the Israelites specific instructions to conquer Jericho, and they chose to obey even when His plan seemed confusing. This story reminds us that we can trust God and follow His instructions even when we don’t understand them. Play a simple “follow the directions” game with your child, then talk about how we can trust and obey God even when we don’t understand His plan! 🎉

During Kids Worship, we continued our series on “Difference Makers” learning about how God is at work in North Africa. Kids learned that when persecution forced believers in the book of Acts to leave Jerusalem, God used their difficult circumstances to spread the good news about Jesus to new places. The same was true in North Africa! Even when things don’t go according to the plan, God is still working and creating opportunities for His purposes. 🙌
