Yesterday in Life Group our Shoal Kids continued learning from the book of Genesis.

Our Preschoolers learned that God Planned for Families. Families may be small, but their impact can be massive. As you pray this week, thank God for the gift of your family. Ask Him how He wants to use your family to point others to Him. ✝

Our Grade Schoolers read the story of Jacob. Jacob had moved far away from home after a dispute with Esau. He decided to return home after twenty years but was worried about Esau’s reaction. Jacob was surprised to learn that Esau forgave him. God wants us to be forgiving, especially to our family members. Over dinner tonight, have each family name a way that they can forgive someone else. 💙

In Kids Worship, our Shoal Kids learned from 1 Peter 2 that God calls His people a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation, and His Possession! 👑 They discovered that God’s Word gives us what we need to grow in our relationship with Him and teaches us how to live in a way that honors Him.

Keep the Conversation Going: Read 1 Peter 2:9 together as a family and ask your child what it means to be a “Royal Priesthood,” a “Holy Nation,” and God’s “Possession.” Then choose one way you can live that out this week—serving someone, treating others with kindness, or sharing about Jesus.

🎉 Midweek Kickoff was a blast!! 🎉

What a fun morning yesterday celebrating our Shoal Kids promoting UP to new classes! 🎈

In Life Groups, our Shoal Kids read from the book of Genesis. Our preschoolers learned that God made people, His most important creation. He made us able to think and do things. We are wonderfully made! Our grade schoolers talked about how families have disagreements or conflicts and Abram’s family was no different. But God’s plan is for families to work out different and live at peace together. 💙

In Kids Worship, our Shoal Kids are following the current study through 1 Peter. They learned that many things in this world fade, but our perfect salvation is eternal.
