What a wonderful time our women had at our event on Sunday night! “Friendship Reimagined” was such a special time with our speakers Beth Bowman and Shay Greenwood. Join us THIS SUNDAY for our 2nd Worship in the Waiting event. Our topic will cover the hard reality behind infertility and child loss. Come hear our speaker, Lizzy Sibley, share her story on losing her son. Learn how you can come alongside your friends who experience infertility/child loss. Come join a community to walk through the roughest times of loss with other women who feel your hurt. You’re not alone.

TONIGHT! 5:30 in the garage!

Hey ladies! Our next Gather will be March 20th at 5:30 in the garage. It’s going to be a powerful time as we open the conversation on infertility and child loss. It’s such a raw and sensitive topic, but my hope is that as we hear from our speakers, it will encourage those difficult conversations to happen. If you have never experienced infertility or child loss, I bet you know someone who has. So come hear how you, as a friend, can help and love on that person during such a difficult time. So whether you or your friend are waiting to become a mother or waiting for the resurrection of Jesus to be reunited with the child that has passed, come Worship in the Waiting. Speakers are Shelly Martin & Penny Lively.

Join us on Sunday, Nov 14 for our Women’s Ministry Christmas Extravaganza! Come enjoy dinner, a faith message, cookie decorating, and learn how to make a professional looking mini wreath or centerpiece! Tickets are free and can be picked up at the church office, from Teresa Bozone, or in the lobby of the west campus starting Oct 31! Tickets are meant to be given in 2s so you take one and give one to someone who doesn’t attend FBCB. We want visitors! So get the word out!

This is how your donation of food items is being put into action today! Mr Jeff Parker sent me this picture of the homeless meals going out today! Doesn’t it feel good to be a small part of the huge impact this ministry is making?! I’m so thankful for a Women’s Ministry that takes a mission project and runs with it. And boy did y’all run! I’m so thankful for each of you! Continue to pray for Jeff Parker and all those involved with Southside Baptist Church.

Ladies!!! Y’all blew us out of the water! Dr. Jeff Parker with Southside Baptist Church in Jackson was so appreciative of all these donations! He kept saying how much of an impact this load will have! His church puts together lunch bags for the homeless in inner city Jackson. These homeless people are hungry. For food and for Jesus. Mr Jeff and his team are feeding these people in more ways than one. We need to continue to pray for them daily! Thank you for your donations!

What a special night with special ladies! We had great prayer warriors that shared with us and we gathered lots of food items for Southside Baptist Church food bank! Thank you to our Women’s Ministry leadership team for organizing everything! Can’t wait for the next one!
