Two of our founding members celebrated 50 years married this week! Praise the Lord for the ways their love has shown constancy and support within the church, tending to its growth throughout the seasons. Their marriage has been a picture of sacramental living our parish has benefited from.

The Orthodox Church celebrated its new year this week, beginning the ecclesiastical year once more on September 1st!

Within our own parish, we saw some of our college students embarking on their own new beginnings at the start of the school year. Join us in praying for a meaningful and faithful school experience!

We wish a fond farewell and big thank you to Reader Zachaeus as he heads back to St. Tikhon’s seminary for his final year. He interned with us this summer and was a wonderful addition to the crew. May God bless his journey!

A beautiful view of our churches. If you look closely you can see that both buildings have a matching rock border. These borders were locally sourced off property from one of the church families in Harrison, MT.

As we continue to build, we are trying to be obedient to the call of Christ to bring what we have. Just like the loaves and fishes, God can use what we bring and multiply it.

There have been a few bumps in the road so far with delays in supplies, an injury or two on our hardworking crew, and weather conditions. We have made the determination to delay the consecration until we are further along in the build. That being said, we are so pleased and grateful for the progress we are making, and are committed to showing up with what we have and trusting God to provide. Stay tuned for the new consecration date!

Prepare it for us as a temporal homeland, such that we may easily and safely travel therefrom to our true homeland with thee. Give strength to the people and bless them with peace. As Joseph prospered when he sojourned in Egypt, so prosper the Orthodox Church and her leaders during our sojourn in this land. Adorn our earthly rulers with the faith of Ehud, the hope of Barak, the steadfast trust of Jephthah, the holiness of Samuel, the prudence of Moses, the meekness of David, the wisdom of Solomon, the courage of Hezekiah, the zeal of Josiah, and the nobility of Zerubbabel.
