KINGDOM SEEKERS

KINGDOM SEEKERS We believe that God is ONE, the creator and Father of Jesus Christ and that Jesus is the only BEGOTTEN SON of God and is the promised Messiah of Israel.

We also believe that the Holy Spirit is the active power and presence of God. I believe in 1 God. His Son Jesus, who is NOT God, and the Holy Spirit which is the power of God or His essence. I have been a Christian since 1979 and am a true Kingdom Seeker. Luke 4: 43 Jesus said, " I preach the Kingdom of God for that is why I was sent". He is coming again and we all can be in His Kingdom at the end

if we believe His words, repent, and be baptized by immersion. For those of us who believe...hold fast!

Proverbs 30:19 The way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a serpent on a rock, the way of a ship in the middle of the sea, and the way of a man with a maid.

They all involve a kind of unseen or untraceable path, and in the last example, the proverb is hinting at the subtle, sometimes unfathomable nature of human romantic interaction.

Proverbs 30:7-9 Two things I asked of You, do not refuse me before I die: Keep deception and lies far from me, give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is my portion, That I not be full and deny You and say, "Who is Yahweh?" Or that I not be in want and steal and profane the name of my God.

Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.

Revelation 22:18-19 adds a little more punch – “I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.”

Proverbs 29:25 The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in Yahweh will be exalted.

The “fear of man” is being overly concerned with people’s opinions, seeking their approval, or dreading their criticism and retaliation. But people’s opinions shift like the wind, while trust in Yahweh gives us stability and confidence. When our focus is on Him, how we come across to others will take care of itself.

TRUTHFUL THOUGHT...

Proverbs 27:20 Sheol [kingdom of the grave] and Abaddon [place of destruction and utter decay] are never satisfied, nor are the eyes of man ever satisfied.

The eyes symbolize coveting, longing, or lust. Our natural human desires are never fully satisfied. Satisfaction is best sought with the Lord.

Take careful responsibility for what you own or oversee—whether animals, business, or people. Good stewardship requires attentiveness and consistency.

Proverbs 27:14 He who blesses his friend with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be reckoned a curse to him.

A loud voice in the morning is a lot for many of us to take. You are not providing a blessing, rather a curse. Be quiet!

TRUTHFUL THOUGHT 8/11/25vf

Proverbs 27:8 Like a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who wanders from his home.

A wandering bird is exposed to danger, without shelter, and vulnerable to harm. A man wandering from his home can lead to aimlessness, exposure, or regret. We need to stay home with God and our God-given responsibilities. We cannot afford to be adrift.

Proverbs 27:7 A sated [full or satisfied] man loathes honey, but to a famished man any bitter thing is sweet.

Appetite shapes perception. When you are full, you may overlook additional blessings. When you are in need, you may find value even in hardship.

Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but deceitful are the kisses of an enemy.

True friends may hurt you with truth, correction, or hard love, but they do so out of loyalty and care. An enemy may speak with flattery or affection with the intent to manipulate or deceive. Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss.

Proverbs 27:4 Wrath is fierce, and anger is a flood, but who can stand before jealousy?

Internal anger or worse an outburst of anger are bad news, but jealousy is worse. How bad can jealousy be?
