Daniel: After the Lion’s Den – Week 2
What happens when the powers of this world seem unstoppable?
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we continue our series Daniel: After the Lion’s Den and dive into Daniel 7:1–28.
Daniel's vision reveals kingdoms rising and falling, but ultimately reminds us that God is still in control. The powers of this world may seem permanent, but they will not rule forever.
At the center of Daniel's vision is the Son of Man, whose dominion is everlasting.
When the world feels uncertain, Daniel reminds us to keep the end in mind: God's final judgment is coming, and His everlasting Kingdom will prevail.
Come worship with us and be reminded that our hope isn't found in the kingdoms of this world—but in the God who rules over them all.

What a wonderful Sunday at BG First Church! 💙

This Sunday was Invite Sunday, and we were reminded of the joy that comes when we invite others to experience worship, community, and the presence of God with us. We’re so thankful for everyone who invited a friend and helped make this Sunday special!

Pastor Micah kicked off a brand-new sermon series, “Daniel After the Lion’s Den,” with a powerful message from Daniel 9:4-19 titled “Coming Home.” We were challenged to examine what it looks like to turn our hearts back toward God through repentance, prayer, and a renewed relationship with Him. 🙏

We’re looking forward to gathering again next Sunday for Communion Sunday as we remember and celebrate what Christ has done for us. We’ll also be kicking off our Alabaster Box offering!

Daniel: After the Lion’s Den – Week 1
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we begin a brand-new series, Daniel: After the Lion’s Den!
We begin in Daniel 9:4–19, where Daniel responds to a difficult season not with fear or frustration, but with prayer. Daniel intercedes for himself and for the people of Israel, confessing sin and appealing to the mercy and faithfulness of God.
Daniel's prayer reminds us that our prayers should reflect who God is, the needs of others, and our need for reconciliation with Him.
What would it look like for us to pray like Daniel—to seek God on behalf of others, confess honestly, and trust in God's mercy?
Come worship with us and begin this journey through Daniel as we discover that even in seasons of uncertainty and exile, God remains faithful.

Invite Sunday is THIS SUNDAY at 10:30 AM!

Here’s our challenge this week:

Think of one person.

A neighbor.
A coworker.
A friend.
A family member.
Someone who hasn’t been to church in a while.

You don’t need the perfect words. Just a simple invitation:

“Hey, would you come to church with me this Sunday?”

That one invitation might mean more than you realize.

Sunday Recap | Growing & Remembering

What a great Sunday at BG First Church! 🙌

Today, we wrapped up our Summer Study through the book of Deuteronomy. Pastor Micah preached from Deuteronomy 31:24–28, reminding us of the importance of continuing to grow in our relationship with the Lord each and every day and never forgetting all that He has done for us. What a timely reminder to keep pursuing Him, trusting Him, and remembering His faithfulness! ❤️

We were also blessed by our teens leading worship today! They did an incredible job, and we are so thankful for the ways God is working in and through the next generation. 🙏

Summer Study: The Book of Deuteronomy – Week 7
Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM as we continue our Summer Study through the Book of Deuteronomy!
In Deuteronomy 30:19, Moses places a choice before God's people: life or death, blessing or cursing. The message is clear—our choices matter, and the decisions we make have consequences.
But God's invitation is not simply about choosing what is easiest or most comfortable. Following God requires faithfulness, perseverance, and a willingness to trust Him even when the road is difficult.
This week, we'll discover how our choices shape our lives and how God's definition of blessing is often very different from the world's. Sometimes the greatest spiritual growth comes through seasons of difficulty and suffering.
Come worship with us and discover what it means to choose the path of life and faithfully follow God.

What a great Sunday at BG First! 🙌

Pastor Micah continued our Summer Study through the book of Deuteronomy, preaching from Deuteronomy 18:15–18. We were reminded of just how many things influence us throughout the world—and how important it is to carefully discern those influences and make sure they align with the Lord and with Scripture. 📖

As we navigate a world filled with competing voices, may we be people who continually look to God’s Word for truth, wisdom, and direction. ❤️
