Saul was an ordinary man searching for his father’s lost donkeys when God called him to something much bigger. God didn’t just give Saul a new assignment—He gave him a new heart.

“As Saul turned to leave Samuel, God changed Saul’s heart
” — 1 Samuel 10:9

Sometimes we’re focused on our daily tasks and don’t realize God is preparing us for something greater. He often works quietly, changing our hearts before He changes our circumstances.

Today, remember: God can use ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Be willing to follow His leading, even when you don’t understand the whole plan.

Today we celebrate and honor all fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, father figures, and the men who faithfully lead, love, and serve their families.

Thank you for the example you set through your strength, wisdom, hard work, and unwavering love. We pray God’s blessings over you today and throughout the coming year.

Ephesians 6:11 – “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

Being a Christian isn’t just for Sunday mornings—it’s an everyday commitment. We need God’s armor on Monday just as much as we do on Sunday.

Church should prepare us for the week ahead, not be the only time we live out our faith.

Before you start your day, put on the full armor of God and choose to represent Christ in your words, actions, and attitude.

Don’t just go to church—be the church every day.

🐋 Tonight our youth learned about Jonah and the great fish!

We talked about how our choices don’t just affect us—they affect the people around us, just as Jonah’s disobedience impacted everyone on the ship. We also learned that when God has a purpose for our lives, running from Him isn’t the answer. God lovingly pursues us and will accomplish His plans and purposes, even when we try to go our own way.
