Does the gospel change the way we work? Does the gospel change the weight of our work? On Labor Day weekend, we will be concluding our series with a sermon entitled “Work Faithfully” from 2 Thessalonians 3:6-18.

Join us tomorrow at 10:30am at 2617 Russellville Road! We will explore the meaning behind our work, but most importantly we will proclaim the work Jesus did on our behalf!

Praise the Lord for a great Members Meeting last night as we look forward to our 4th Anniversary as a church in a couple weeks!

Members Meetings are often heavy and happy. Last night was no different.

We wept tears of sorrow. We laughed with joy. We got practical and theological. We prayed for babies and marriages. We shared about evangelism efforts. We heard updates on our supported missionaries. We identified evidences of grace and recounted God’s faithfulness to us. We recited our church covenant and encouraged one another in the gospel from 2 Thessalonians 3. In other words, it was a great meeting.

Don't trade in the glory of member's meetings for business meetings in the church.

We are only 2 weeks away from our Anniversary Sunday! On Sunday, September 13th we will celebrate God’s grace to us during the past 4 years! What started as a small group of 17 believers has since grown into a church family!

For our Anniversary Sunday, Pastor Lance Parrott from Christ Fellowship Church will be preaching a message from Galatians 2 entitled “Gospel Culture In The Life of the Church.” We will also observe the Lord’s Supper and enjoy a fellowship meal together!

And due to popular demand, we plan to have a friendly soccer game right after the service!

We hope to see you there!

Sunday is coming! Join us tomorrow at 10:30am at 2617 Russellville Road as we worship Jesus together!

We will be continuing our sermon series by considering the topic “Pray Confidently” from 2 Thessalonians 3:1-5.

Also if you bought a T-Shirt or Sweatshirt for our upcoming Anniversary Sunday, they will be available for pick up!

We can’t wait to gather with one another to declare the gospel and display the gospel! See you there!

During our Men’s Fellowship on Sunday, some of the Jennings Creek men enjoyed friendly competition with a disc golf tournament!

What a great time spent together!

We are thankful for each husband, son, father, grandfather, and man in our local church!

Praise God for this truth from Sunday's sermon in 2 Thessalonians 2:13-17! Paul commands the Thessalonians to "stand firm and hold to the traditions that they were taught."
