That one word: surely. That changes everything. There's no maybe to it. Jesus promised He would be with us to the very end of the age. It's a sure thing.

A teacher wrote this on the board…
and the whole class started laughing.
But what he said afterward was something many of those students remembered for the rest of their lives.
7 × 1 = 7
7 × 2 = 14
7 × 3 = 21
7 × 4 = 28
7 × 5 = 35
7 × 6 = 42
7 × 7 = 49
7 × 8 = 56
7 × 9 = 63
7 × 10 = 71 ❌
The laughter came immediately.
“You got it wrong!” the kids shouted, laughing.
“It’s supposed to be 70, not 71!”
The teacher calmly waited until the classroom became quiet.
Then he said something that made everyone stop talking:
“I wrote nine answers correctly.
But no one praised me for those.
Everyone noticed only one mistake.
And that is the only thing you chose to talk about.”
Then he added:
“That is often how life works too.
You can spend years doing good things.
Trying your best.
Helping others.
Working honestly.
Being responsible.
Showing up again and again.
But make one mistake, and that may be the thing people remember most.
That may be the thing they criticize, laugh at, or judge you for.”
So do not live only for applause.
And do not stop because of one mistake.
You will not always get it right the first time.
You may not even get it right the second time.
And that is okay.
The most important thing is to keep trying.
Do not forget to value your own victories,
even when others only notice your mistakes. See less

If the enemy cannot pull you away from your faith, he will often try something else. He will aim for your endurance. He will press on your mind until your thoughts feel heavy, stretch your body until rest feels out of reach, and weigh on your heart until even simple obedience feels difficult. It is not always loud battles that shake us, but the slow, steady pressure that tries to convince you that you do not have the strength to keep going.

But that is where truth steps in.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust” (Psalm 18:2, NKJV).

God is not asking you to manufacture strength on your own. God is your strength. That means when you feel like you have nothing left, you are not at the end. You are at the place where dependence begins. Where striving ends and surrender opens the door for God’s power to meet you.

Isaiah 40:29 says, “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” Not some strength. Not barely enough. Increased strength. Strength that does not come from your circumstances but from God’s presence within you.

When you feel drained, do not pull away. Lean in. Sit with God even if your prayers feel small. Even if all you can say is help. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart.” Near means present. Close enough to sustain you in the exact place you are in.

The enemy may try to wear you down, but he cannot overcome what God sustains. He cannot break what God is holding together. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

So stay rooted. Stay anchored in truth. You are not fighting for strength. You are walking with the One who already is your strength. And God will renew you again and again.

One of the greatest failures of modern civilization is our refusal to acknowledge that the deeper humanity moves away from God, the more disorder, confusion, violence, and moral decay follow behind it.

We explain everything except the soul. We blame systems, economics, politics, childhood, inequality, technology, and institutions yet rarely confront the spiritual emptiness consuming modern life. Power without moral restraint has existed since the beginning of time, and history repeatedly shows what follows: civilizations collapse not only from external enemies, but from internal moral erosion.

We have tried programs, prisons, therapies, policies, and endless social experiments to reform the human condition, yet the heart of man remains restless, prideful, wounded, and capable of both extraordinary good and terrible evil. Ancient wisdom understood what modern arrogance often rejects that humanity untethered from God eventually untethers itself from truth, discipline, humility, and purpose.

Even Homer, through The Iliad and The Odyssey, understood that man separated from divine order becomes vulnerable to chaos, vanity, destruction, and self-deception. History does not merely repeat itself politically. It repeats itself spiritually.

The crisis of our age is not only political or cultural. It is moral and spiritual. And no civilization in history has long survived when it lost the ability to distinguish freedom from indulgence, truth from convenience, and God from self.

Who are you?!

There were times in my life, when I did not think much of myself.

This would cause me to make an attempt to be someone that I was not.

The world said to me, just be yourself, everyone else is taken.
The world says, just be yourselves, without considering what that might be.

The world says, be happy with who you are, because you’re stuck with who you are.
They are saying to us, to make the best of a bad situation.

I personally was not happy witjusth who I was.
Neither, did I find happiness in my feeble attempt to be someone that I was not.

Then, Jesus Christ revealed to me that I could be born again.
John 3:1-5 you must be born again of water and Spirit

Jesus revealed to me, that I could
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Jesus revealed to me that I
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,

Jesus revealed to me, that my hope was not in being myself, nor was it in an attempt to be someone that I was not.

Real peace comes when you experience 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

Peter denied the Lord three times and wept bitterly when who he was, was revealed to himself.
Then Jesus told Peter, tarry in Jerusalem and ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.
Peter was no longer himself, he was Peter full of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus revealed to me
In Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

It’s Christ in you, that’s the hope of Glory !!!!!! ~ Jeff Wainwright

It's Memorial Day, a day to honor the fallen. It's much more than cookouts, hot dogs and burgers...much more. So many made the sacrifice so that we are able to enjoy those things.
Enjoy the day, enjoy your family and friends, enjoy the freedom...just don't ever forget what it cost.
