Wishing everyone a very blessed Corpus Christi!

On this day, let us remember nothing is more beautiful than the Eucharist. Receiving the Body of Christ transforms us. The grace we receive in the sacrament is more powerful than any natural force on earth. Being in the light of the Son and receiving the true bread from heaven gives us a foretaste of the world to come!
Let us be thankful for the gift Jesus gave us, and the way He teaches us how to live for others.

"Oh Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You today, we thank You for the gift of Your Holy Body and Blood through which we get strengthened body, soul and mind. We solemnly pledge that we will offer You our undivided love and also service to our brothers and sisters as it is Your Holy will.
We pray this in the Name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit."

✝ SUPPORT COMMUNITY OUTREACH MINISTRIES ✝

St. George Church continually collects donations for our various Community Outreach Ministries.

All donated items can be left in the CHURCH NARTHEX. (PLEASE LABEL FOR WHICH MINISTRY THEY ARE INTENDED.)
All CASH donations can be put in an envelope and placed in any collection basket.
💥💥(PLEASE MARK WHICH MINISTRY THE DONATION IS FOR ON THE ENVELOPE.)

Here are our various Community Outreach Ministries and how you can help:

😇DEACON MILT'S MINISTRY:
Cash donations to continue purchasing snacks and other supplies for the various nursing homes they visit.

😇JPII FOOD PANTRY:
Over 200 families are helped weekly. Non-perishable food items (peanut butter, cereal, canned fruit, flour, sugar) as well as paper products.

😇PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER:
Cash donations, diapers (sizes 4, 5 & 6), baby wipes and baby body wash.

🇺🇸🇺🇸This morning, St. George Church celebrated our annual Memorial Day Remembrance Mass and Ceremony. 🇺🇸🇺🇸

The American Legion and the Scouts came together to honor the brave men & women of the armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom. Thank you to everyone who came out to honor our fallen.

We would like to sincerely thank the Harvey S. Ruel American Legion Post #1164 and Scouts BSA Troop 319 for such a moving tribute. We would also like to thank our helpers who served lemonade and cookies after the ceremony. ❤️🤍💙

May God Bless all of our fallen and their families and may we always remember their sacrifices. 🇺🇸♥️🇺🇸🤍🇺🇸💙
