Free Brain Health and Dementia Education Drop-in Event Coming to Boulder

MSU Extension’s Mobile Memory Café, led by Program Manager Lisa Brachwitz, will host a free Brain Health and Dementia Education Drop-In Event at the Boulder Senior Center. The event is designed to help community members learn practical strategies for maintaining brain health at any age, gain a clearer understanding of dementia, and explore caregiving resources available to support individuals and families.

The program offers clear, practical information on topics including:

· What Dementia Is and How it Affects Individuals

· Early Warning Signs of Memory Loss

· How Dementia is Detected and Diagnosed

· What to Expect After a Diagnosis

· Brain Health and Strategies for Living Well with Dementia

· Effective Communication with People Experiencing Memory Loss

Val is still recovering in Billings. There will be no worship service at the Boulder United Methodist Church Sunday the 21st.

We encourage folks to attend other churches in Boulder. Services are: Life at 10:00 am, Lutheran at 10:30am, and Baptist at 10:45 am.

Some of us will be then having lunch at the Bistro about noon. Come join us!
