What a special Sunday this past week at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church! 💙 This past Sunday, we celebrated as Clint Tyler followed the Lord in believer's baptism. What a joy it was to witness his obedience and commitment to the Lord!

We were also excited to officially welcome Clint and his wife, Lexi, into our church family as new members. We are thankful God led them to Gibbs Memorial and look forward to serving alongside them.

If you've been considering baptism, joining a church, or simply looking for a place to grow in your faith, we'd love to have you. There is a place for you here at Gibbs Memorial, and we'd be honored to walk alongside you in your journey with Christ!

Kick-Off Night starts TONIGHT with our Meet & Greet Pizza Supper from 5:15–6:15 P.M. for parents and children. If you didn’t get a chance to pre-register, come register tonight, enjoy a meal together, and connect with our VBS team before an incredible week begins!

VBS starts at 6:00 P.M., and we’re ready for a week full of fun, fellowship, and learning how to keep our eyes focused on Jesus! 🙌 See you soon!

The countdown to VBS is officially on! 🏁Vacation Bible School is almost here at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church, and excitement is building! Here is a glimpse of some of the fun we had last year!

VBS 2026: Running the Race takes place May 31st–June 3rd | 6:00–8:30 PM for children Pre-K through completed 6th grade.

This year’s theme is “Ready, Set, Focus on Jesus!” based on Hebrews 12:1–2, as we learn how to fix our eyes on Jesus and run the race of faith together. ✝️🏃‍♂️

Kick-Off Night is THIS Sunday, May 31st! Join us for a Meet & Greet Pizza Supper from 5:15–6:15 PM for parents and children. Come register, enjoy a meal, and connect with our VBS team before everything begins!

Get ready- Vacation Bible School is almost here at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🏁 Here is all of the fun we had last year at VBS!

What a great afternoon at the Braves game with some of our GMBC family! ⚾️ Despite the rain, we enjoyed spending time together, sharing lots of laughs, making memories, and cheering on the Braves. We are thankful for opportunities like these to fellowship outside the church walls and grow closer as a church family.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, we had a wonderful time together and look forward to the next outing!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the greatest example of love:

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." ~John 15:13 NIV

As we gather with family and friends today, may we remember those who made our freedoms possible and thank God for His many blessings upon our nation. We pray you have a meaningful Memorial Day filled with gratitude, remembrance, and faith. 🇺🇸
