Brother Hamzah Homsi, age 25, originally from Syria, living in Boston, MA, also passed away.

Both their Janaza Prayer will be on Friday, October 30, 2026 after the Jummah Prayer (1:00pm) at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (100 Malcolm X Boulevard, Roxbury, MA 02120).

Brother Regragui Jaouad burial will take place at Cedar Knoll Cemetery (175 Staples Street, East Taunton, MA 02718).

Brother Hamzah Homsi burial will take place at the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery (670 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132).

Nearing the end of her life and having no family, she was deeply afraid that no one would be there to perform her final Islamic burial rights. We comforted her and promised that our community would ensure she is buried with full dignity according to the Sunnah.*
