In our society, where there is so much hurt and hopelessness, we who have experienced true life should not stay quiet about it. We are compelled to be a church where each member realizes that WE are the church and together we can bring the reality of Jesus into our neighborhoods and jobs and lives – not just on Sunday mornings, but every day of the week. And this is the community of the Living Church, where we stir one another for good works in Christ Jesus, bringing His hope to a dead world.

There is an epidemic that we have been forced to endure and put up with, the disease of discipline, or the lack of it. This is a touchy topic and I want to give you a fair trigger warning. In this message I address discipline, the identity and the fruit that only discipline can restore. If you have been abused in the name of discipline, or have been the abuser, this message is for you. Proverbs 29 is where we will be this morning.
