In every beginning is an ending, O Lord, and in every end something new begins. Our beloved Ian and Erin (Percy) have graduated from high school, and are ready now for new learning and experiences. Grant that childhood’s innocence and hope may remain alive in them, bringing joy as they mature. Grant that they may hear Your still, small voice in their hearts saying, “This is the way, walk in it.” Help them preserve old friendships while creating new ones. Grant that we who love them may help them to find their own voices, their own words, and their own work in Christ’s true way, who knows the persons they were created to be; we pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The summer schedule in church has started! A combined 9 am service brings us all together in worship and fellowship. And your part in worship and fellowship is incredibly important!

Sometimes we think too little of ourselves and think that our absence won’t mean much, but in truth we all matter in worship and fellowship.

Different personalities and perspectives at coffee hour. Different voices in prayer, and different voices in singing (even if we’re not the type that likes to sing). Different lives coming together, bringing joy, thanksgivings, and celebrations along with heartache, sadness, or even feeling “blah”.

All of this is part of the wonderful tapestry of humanity that comes together in worship and fellowship. Never forget how important you are to the whole picture, to the whole Body of Christ. Much love, Fr. Joseph+

Congratulations to all that graduated! Peep our very own Christina in the bottom right!

What a sacred morning it was at St. James Cathedral. We gathered as a community to celebrate, to pray, and to send forth the Bexley Seabury Class of 2026 into lives of ministry and service.

We are still in awe of these graduates and the journey that brought them to this moment.
