Gather with other people of faith at the Capitol on Wednesdays throughout the legislative session. 12:00-12:30 outside the Capitol and 12:40 inside the 2nd floor rotunda.

Participants prayed over current issues in the hands of state leaders and several speakers raised concerns about past laws they say have harmed minority groups and low-income communities.

309. That is the incredible number of Winco and Walmart gift cards we received from Mission Aviation Fellowship today! We are absolutely blown away by this generosity.

But the kindness doesn't stop there. Our hearts are full as we add these to the donations already received from:

Because of these churches and businesses, we can provide a vital safety net for refugee families facing food insecurity and a loss of benefits. These cards represent more than just groceries—they represent a community that says, "You are welcome, and you are cared for."

City of Good and Boise Farmers Market Partner to Bridge the SNAP Gap and Expand Access to Fresh, Local Food for All!

This amazing partnership has restarted their mobile market providing fresh veggies for the next two Thursdays at Collister UMC. Their model is "pay what you can" and is another generous example of Boiseans stepping up to the bridge the SNAP gap and support individuals and families at this time. Help spread the word that Thursdays, November 13, 20 from 11:30-1pm the Boise Farmers Market/City of Good Mobile Veggie Van will be in the neighborhood!

It's time again for Taft Elementary's Generosity Project (formerly known as the Holiday Store) This wonderful event was started by a Taft grandparent and parent and has become a wonderful tradition for our partner school. The actual event is Tuesday, Dec. 16th, but between now and then our task is to start collecting gently used items or shopping on the Amazon list (QR code provide) filled with curated items especially for our Taft students to gift others. "What is the Generosity Project?" you ask? It's a special event where students are invited to choose gifts for two special gifts for people in their lives. Is there anything better than giving someone a gift? This is the core of this event - to provide an opportunity for Taft students to experience the joy of giving a gift to others. Volunteer opportunities coming soon, but for now let's start collecting some fun items! Bring them to church on Sundays or to Taft beginning Dec. 1st

Taft Elementary Ministry Team’s first coffee truck delivery of the school year! Lots of smiles, Pumpkin lattes and bagels delivered to the hard working staff at our neighborhood school. We’re so grateful for their dedication and expertise in leading, educating and caring for precious Taft Tigers! Special thanks to the delicious warm concoctions made by Sid and Kathy Gauby at Slow River Coffee - we’re now in our 9th year of partnership with them!
