Things today may look a little different , but prayer still works , God is still good, and is working even when you feel like he’s not…. Lord Jesus thank you for another day , another chance to serve and worship you!!! I’ve been through so many battles but you always been right there beside me….. I’m just so grateful for you!!! I know that my trust is in you, and the words you have given me still stands…. We’re going to get through this, I miss you all and I will fish with you again….. My strength comes from the Lord!!!!! Just wanted to let everyone know we’re working in it, and hopefully it will not be long …..See you soon !!!! Love you all

Just wanted to let everyone know, that even with being in a bad accident , I will not stop till I can spread God’s love with you, and fish with you all again!!! This is just a minor set back, my back and leg pain is terrible , but it shall pass… God grace is sufficient, and he is a way maker!! It’s such a great honor and pleasure to teach and love on all of you as we catch us a few… By no means am I a saint, but I’m trying my best…. I have to see my surgeon to see how long it’ll take to get there, but I give you my word I’ll do everything in my ability!!! Faith Family and Fishing isn’t just a motto it’s the way I live my life… For those I’ve had to cancel on I’m sorry and we will fish soon I promise …. I’ll keep you informed so we can get things scheduled and rolling again…. God bless each and every one of you….. Thank you Jesus for such wonderful friends and followers I’ve met on this journey….

Want to learn more about rig tying, and some of the things that make me successful… Still have 4 slots open for my class at the Oak Island Recreational Center on April 10th and 11th… Friday evening will be the classroom session where I can get hands on with you, and teach the technical stuff, then Saturday morning we do a little fishing!!!! It’s a great opportunity to get a good start on spring fishing….You can register at the recreational center!!!! Can’t wait to see you there!!!!

Tom was great to hang with, he was the one who invited me to speak at the Piedmont Saltwater Fishing Club in Greensboro!!! I guess I said a few things right even though I was super nervous…. He decided on having a Big Game night adventure with me…. We fished a little, working on his casting distance, btw he was throwing 2 times farther by the time we left!!!! I showed him a few rig making techniques, shared some laughs and caught a few sharks….. Nothing crazy big , but still loads of fun…. The water is still a little colder than I’d like it to be , but at least now we’re catching some fish…. Let’s get you on the books!!!! www.faithsurffishing.com

Been of fun couple days of fishing , got run off by tons of seaweed a couple times, but continued to stay after it!!! Several dogfish were caught , a few croakers, one small bluefish, a similar sized sand shark, and this one was the highlight , not the biggest but still fun to catch… I have a good feeling once this water warms up it’s going be a great time!!! Finally starting to see some life in the water… Water temps are about to get where we need them to be …It’s time to get you on the books for your fishing adventure….. I’ll be out Wednesday and Thursday to see what’s happening , so far it’s been a ton of stingrays , a juvenile black drum, and a small dogfish…. Hope everyone’s year is off to a good start, it’s been exciting here behind the scenes! To get the season started I’ll be teaching a class at the Oak Island Saltwater Fishing School, on March 14th, it’s a great informational class that offers a broad spectrum of surf fishing tactics, plus as a bonus you can hang out all day and listen to the other captains sometimes the little things you can learn from them will help you a lot as well… I’ll also be teaching Surf Fishing 101 at the Oak Island Recreational Center this year… Come get in on the fun!!! Of coarse, I’ll be running my charters staring back on March 15th!!! It’ll be here before you know it , let’s get you on the schedule now …… I can’t wait to see what has 2026 has for us to catch!!!! With 2025 almost in the books, I wanted to highlight some fun from the year we had !!!!! Thanks to you all who fished , talked about, watched, or even clicked on my content it’s truly appreciated….
