Hello Team JAG,
We had a great time together Sunday!
We took time to remember those who gave their lives in service to this great country.
For those of you who were unable to come, please know that we missed you and completely understand and appreciate any reluctance or restrictions which have to be taken into consideration for your travel and gathering.
Though we are back on Sunday 10:30 meeting schedules, we will forego the Wednesday evening meetings until further notice (likely phase three).
if you missed the service this weekend, here's a quick recap. We sang your "Grace is Enough," "I am Friend of God," "Holy, Holy Holy 9the hymn)" and introduced a new song - "Waymaker" - really cool song.
We saw a very inspirational video followed by the Gaither version of The Star Spangled Banner.

Kris Rausch sang a great version of "I Know the Peace Speaker"

I preached a quick message (haha) on, "We often forget what we should remember - and remember what we should forget."
What does God remember? He remembered Noah - He remembered Rachel - and many others. BY name. When God remembers, it's personal
God remembers his covenant, his promises, his word to us.
Something tells me (the Bible) that we should remember the NAME of the Lord. - It's personal. Jehovah. I AM THAT I AM.
And we should remember his WORD, His Covenant, and His promises.
It's a partnership. Help me remember, says the Lord. Help me remember your words to me (He says the Holy Spirit will bring the things he has spoken to our remembrance)
What does God forget?!? I can only find a few things God can't do - one is remember my sins (or yours). Remember the "as far is the east is from the west has he removed our iniquities from us?" Remember Him throwing our sins into the sea?
I think we should imitate God. We should make every effort to forget sins. ours and others.
Last point:
Philippians 3:13-14(KJV)
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus..
'Nuff said.
IMPORTANT: We will not resume Wednesday night services until closer to the opening of Phase Three. Thanks and God Bless!
