Here we are, at the end of Judges. The worst violence ever inflicted on a tribe of Israel has been perpetrated not by a foreign invader or nomadic marauders but by the tribes of Israel themselves, and only 600 men from Benjamin remain.

And things are going to get even worse.

Now we're here: the horrifying finale. Put the kids in another room, because violence is going to break out, Israelite against Israelite, unlike what we saw even when the Philistines or the Arameans invaded. Where is God when this kind of evil is in the land? That's going to be the question at hand as we start our last three weeks of Judges.
