Our Cool Kids enjoyed spending our last meeting with Jyoti before she goes to college! We are so thankful for the blessing of Jyoti’s ministry with our children and we pray she has a wonderful year! We love you Jyoti! 🙏🏻❤️

What a great group of young folks joined us today at our first Courageous Youth Lunch Bunch Meeting! We enjoyed lunch, some games, a powerful devotion on Psalm 139:13-14, and a time of prayer together. We are thankful that Union is a church that seeks to love and encourage young people to follow Jesus and to be the unique person that God created them to be everywhere they go!

Cool Kids is off to a great start this year! We’re going to learn all about Jesus and his miracles and parables. It’s going to be a great time of fellowship, fun and growing in our faith!! Thanks be to God 🙏🏻❤️

It’s time for Homecoming & Blessing of the Backpacks!

Worship with the Union family on Sunday, August 2, for our annual homecoming celebration. This year, our regional minister, Rev. Dr. Adam Harmon, will join us in worship. He will bring our homecoming message. As we celebrate our 174th year, we will also ask God to bless our students, teachers, and other school personnel through “Blessing of the Backpacks.”

If you are attending school or involved with the schools, bring your "school bag" with you! At the end of our service, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall for a covered dish dinner. Bring a dish or two and join us.

We hope you can join us for a luncheon in memory of Rev. Troy Tatum this Sunday after worship. Union Christian Church is thankful for the ministry of Rev. Troy Tatum, who served faithfully at Union from August 2007 to August 2013. This Sunday, July 19, following worship, the Union family will come together to share stories and celebrate Troy's life and ministry. We will have a covered-dish lunch as we share stories and sweet memories.

It was a joy to install our incoming Elders and it was so special to ordain Melanie Tate as a first time Elder. Union is so thankful for the faithful ministry of our Elders as they care for the congregation!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Cool Kids’’ Lemonade for Lydia's place Lemonade stand. Our final total from Father's Day is $1030! Combined with our VBS offering, we are sending a check to Lydia's place for $1149.09. Lydia's Place

Look at all the smiles from VBS at Union! On Day 3, we learned that we can give our all to Jesus like the widow at the Temple. On Day 4, we learned that we can pray and God hears us. Each child also received a Bible from our friends, the Gideons. Thanks to all who served, donated, and participated in VBS at Union! We thank God for a great week!
