📖 In MISQUOTED, we recently unpacked Philippians 4:13 and Matthew 7:1 and discovered that both verses are often taken out of context.

“I can do all things through Christ” is not about unlimited success. It is about finding strength in Christ through every season, including hardship and suffering.

And “Do not judge” is not a command to ignore sin or truth. Jesus calls us to approach others with humility, self-reflection, and grace instead of pride and condemnation.

When we slow down and study Scripture in context, we see God’s heart more clearly. 🔍

Middle school Sunday School has been walking through Paul’s letters these past few weeks 📖

We talked about the Fruit of the Spirit and what it actually looks like to love people, have self-control, and reflect Jesus in everyday life 🍎✨ We also jumped into the Armor of God and learned how God gives us what we need to stand strong in our faith 🛡️⚔️

This group always brings the energy, the questions, and the chaos 😂 and we love getting to grow together every Sunday.

🎓✨ Graduation Sunday is one of our favorite days of the year because it gives us the chance to pause and celebrate growth, faith, perseverance, and God’s faithfulness through every season.

From our 8th graders stepping into a new chapter, to our high school seniors preparing for what’s next, to our college graduates walking into new callings… we are unbelievably proud of each of you. 💜

Thank you for letting us be part of your story. Your church family is praying over you, cheering for you, and believing that God has incredible things ahead. 🙌📖

Big shoutout to Jon Roberts for grilling burgers for the graduation cookout and all those who brought food for the lunch!
