This past weekend, Esther reminded us that God can work through us right where we are!

Our Discipleship Pathway helps kids take what they're learning into everyday life!

🏡 At Home: Celebrate something unique about how God made your child.
🤝 In My Neighborhood: Look for someone who needs kindness or encouragement.
🎒 At School: Be courageous like Esther and choose to do what's right!

👑 GOD MADE A QUEEN!

This past weekend in Mission Kids, we learned about Esther! When her people needed help, Esther courageously stepped forward, showing us how God can work through us right where we are. Our Big Idea: “I can be who God made me to be.”

🏡 Ask your child, “What's something special about the way God made you?” Talk about how they can use that to show God's love to others this week!

❤️ PRACTICING THE WAY OF JESUS

Each past weekend, we’re helping kids learn what it looks like to practice the way of Jesus. These simple, tangible actions help set the standard for how we spend our time together—showing kindness, including others, listening well, helping, and caring for one another.

At home, ask: “What is one way you can practice the way of Jesus this week?”

Take what your child learned this weekend into your everyday family rhythms!
Pull out your Mission Kids placemat at dinner and choose one question or activity to do together.

Connect it back to Nehemiah by asking: “Where have you noticed someone who might need help?”

One simple conversation can help kids connect what they're learning at church to how they live all week. ❤️

❤️ PRACTICING THE WAY OF JESUS

This weekend, kids practiced one of our Discipleship Pathway skills: helping and serving.

Nehemiah didn’t just notice a need—he stepped in to help!

This week, give your child opportunities to do the same. At home or in your neighborhood, ask: “Do you see someone or something that could use some help?”

🏗️ GOD MADE A BUILDER

This past weekend, Mission Kids learned about Nehemiah. When he heard Jerusalem’s walls were broken down, he cared about the people, brought the need to God, and stepped in to help!

💡 Big Idea: “I can see a need and step in to help.”

Ask: 👀 “What is one need you notice?” 🙌 “How could we step in and help?”

Only a few more weeks to memorize the Ten Commandments! Keep practicing together at home!

Throughout God Made, our kids have been discovering more about who God is and how we can know and follow Him. This weekend, we learned that God made a way for us to come to Him: we can talk to God because He hears us.

Keep practicing God’s Word and making prayer part of your everyday moments together!
