Join us this Sunday morning at Daystar First Church of God as we start things off at 9:30am in the Book of Acts for our Sunday School lesson, then after that we'll move over to the main Sanctuary for our Worship Service beginning at 10:30am where we will take a closer look at a Parable Jesus told [10 Virgins] in Matthew 25 and discuss the importance of these sobering Words (1-13) and the heavy emphasis He placed on being watchful and ready for His inevitable return to collect His bride, the Church, because "we do not know the day or the hour" that will ultimately come to pass (v.13). We invite you, your family, and any friends you can think of to come out as we join together in sweet fellowship. I believe this message will be informative, encouraging, and maybe even a little bit scary (in a good way)! The Bible tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom/knowledge (Proverbs 1:7 & 9:10). That healthy fear is beautifully designed to push us towards the safety and security found only in the Person of Jesus Christ, so always remember to keep these things in mind when drawing near to our gracious Heavenly Father. The Adkins Family aka 'Whosoever' will be our special guests, and you don't want to miss the blessing of their anointed music ministry! Join us this Sunday morning as we gather again for a 9:30 (am) Bible Study from the Book of Acts and then, immediately following, a 10:30 (am) service in the Main Sanctuary where we will gather for prayer, praise, worship, and a timely message from the Book of Esther as we open the Word of God and ask Him to further transform our hearts and minds by the sanctifying power of His revealed truth applied to the deepest parts of our who we are. We hope and pray that you'll consider the Church of God a priority in your life this Sunday as God's precious Word and Holy Spirit will surely encourage and strengthen you for the road ahead.
