💰✨ God's Plan: Give, Save & Live Wisely!

John Wesley once said, “Earn all you can. Save all you can. Give all you can.” 🙌

As we continue our Making Money Behave series, we're exploring how to put those words into action through the 10-15-75 Plan!

🙏 10% — Give to God First. Honor Him with the first portion of your earnings.

🌱 15% — Save for Your Future. Build financial stability through consistent saving and investing.

🏡 75% — Live Wisely. Use the remainder to provide for your needs and enjoy God's blessings.

Living by this plan may require adjusting our spending habits, but small, intentional changes can lead to lasting financial discipline!

📖 Proverbs reminds us that wise planning and steady saving help us prepare for the future.

❤️ Faithful stewardship isn't about how much we have. It's about how wisely we manage what God has entrusted to us.

💭 Reflect: What's one change you could make to put God first and manage your money more intentionally?

🎃👻 SPOOKY GAMES, CRAZY CHALLENGES & LOTS OF LAUGHS! 🕸️😂

Wednesday Night Youth at Bixby First Methodist was a SPOOK-tacular good time! 🧡🖤

Our youth brought their competitive spirit for a night filled with hilarious challenges, teamwork, and plenty of fun!

🎃 Pumpkin Relay — Speed, teamwork, and a little pumpkin chaos!

🧻 Mummy Wrap Challenge — Who knew toilet paper could be so much fun?! 😂

👀 Eyeball Obstacle Course — Keeping our eyes on the prize took on a whole new meaning!

🔑 The Great Missing Keys Hunt — Let's just say those keys were hidden VERY cleverly! 🕵️‍♂️🤣

From friendly competition to nonstop laughter, it was a night full of fun memories and friendships!

❤️ We love creating a place where our youth can connect, belong, and just have FUN together!

🏈🥫 FOOD DRIVE SHOWDOWN: AND THE WINNER IS… GO POKES! 🧡🤠

A little college football rivalry turned into a BIG win for our Bixby community! ❤️

Our Bixby First Methodist After School Program held a friendly canned food competition featuring three favorite Oklahoma college football teams:

💙❤️ TU — Golden Hurricane

❤️🤍 OU — Sooners

🧡🖤 OSU — Cowboys

And the winner, by a LANDSLIDE… 🥁

🏆🧡 THE OKLAHOMA STATE COWBOYS! GO POKES! 🤠🎉

But the REAL winners are our Bixby neighbors! ❤️

Every canned food item collected will go toward our Thanksgiving Food Baskets, helping provide food and encouragement to at-risk individuals and families right here in our community. 🦃🥫

A HUGE thank you to our after-school students and families for showing that a little friendly competition can make a BIG difference!

💛✨ Enjoy the Fruits of Your Labor!

Did you know that God wants you to ENJOY the blessings He's given you? 🙌

As we continue our Making Money Behave series, we're reminded that faithful stewardship isn't just about giving and saving—it's also about enjoying God's provision with a grateful heart!

📖 In 1 Timothy 6:17–19, we're reminded that God generously provides us with good things to enjoy.

When we honor God first, save wisely, and spend thoughtfully, we can celebrate the fruits of our labor without losing sight of what matters most. ❤️

And sometimes, the greatest joy isn't in what we buy for ourselves, but in sharing God's blessings with the people we love! 🥰

💰✨ Pay Yourself Second: Save Today, Prepare for Tomorrow!

You work hard for your money—but are you setting some aside for your future? 🤔
Proverbs 21:20 reminds us that wise people save, while foolish choices consume everything.
As we continue our Making Money Behave series, we're learning to manage our money with purpose:
🙏 Honor God first. Make Him your top priority.
💵 Pay yourself second. Set aside a portion of every paycheck.
🌱 Prepare for tomorrow. Build savings through consistent, intentional choices.
Today's devotional challenges us to consider saving and investing 15% of our earnings. Even if you start smaller, every step toward wise stewardship matters!
Faithful stewardship isn't just about what we give or spend—it's also about what we wisely save. ❤️

💰🙏 Honor God First: Give God Your Best!

When it comes to managing our money, we often think about what needs to be paid, what we want to buy, and what we hope to save.

But here's an important question: Where does God fit into our financial priorities? 🤔

In Proverbs 3:9, Scripture reminds us to honor the Lord with our wealth and the firstfruits of all we produce.

Throughout the Bible, God's people were called to bring their first and best as an offering—not whatever happened to be left over.

Why? Because putting God first is an expression of our love, gratitude, and trust in Him. ❤️

God has already given us His very best through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. How can we respond with anything less than our best?

As we continue our Making Money Behave series, we're reminded that faithful stewardship begins with getting our priorities in the right order.

Honor God first. Then make thoughtful decisions about spending, saving, and giving.

Putting God first isn't just about money. It's about allowing Him to guide every part of our lives—our time, talents, relationships, decisions, and resources.

When God comes first, everything else begins to find its proper place. ✨

WOW! What an incredible evening of fall fun, laughter, and community at Bixby First Methodist! 🙌

From hayrides and games to face painting, delicious food, s'mores, and plenty of sweet treats, our Fall Festival was filled with smiles, memories, and FUN for the whole family! 🍭🚜🍁

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! ❤️

You are truly the heart of this event! From planning and decorating to preparing food, running games, welcoming families, and staying late to clean up, every act of service helped make this night possible.

Your generosity, energy, and servant hearts helped us live out our mission to “Welcome everyone. Serve generously. Let Jesus shine.” ✨

And to everyone who joined us—THANK YOU! We loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and sharing a wonderful evening with our Bixby community.
